No, My parents

-charged [and convicted {*** trying to play he said she said with a felony} me with Misdemeanor Unauthorized Use of a Moveable with a false police report claiming they witnessed me stealing his car when neither of them couldve claimed to have seen me take it because we were all not present nor was the car at the time and day the crime was committed and i had permission since Aug 23rd 2015 (since we've owned the car) to use the car without ever having to ask permission and i was across town with the car.

-they then reported the car stolen after reporting my whereabouts to the police anonymously. This lands my Boyfriend who has no idea any of this is happening who took use of the car to go get some other lady we had literally just gotten rid of. Charges get reduced from Possession of stolen property valued greater than $1500 to Felony Unauthorized Use. With a second false police report again claiming that i stole the car and now claims that he stole the car from me.

-Shenanigans ensue, I get my phone back and find a SHITTUN of evidence disproving this entire thing including text messages from the 17th and the 13th of May where they acknowledge that they were never going to be home around the time and day (May 15th, i dont remember the time i barely got a glance of the police report at my arraignment) this supposedly happened and i never got the psuedo legal texts my dad sent stripping me of authorized use because he believed i was committing various illegal activities while using the car (Otherwise hearsay except for one which no charges have been brought up on yet and my father has nowhere near the authority to bring charges for [They actually tried to file a missing persons report in one parish but the police refused to then they reported the unauthorized use to another parish]).

-We've been fighting for 6 months with my parents swearing up and down that i never had permission to ever use the car and that i specifically told them that my BF stole the car from me (They twisted my words, I said he had the car and for whatever reason he didnt come back with it [Someone got him *** up and then had him drive them to Mississippi and they woke up at a gas station...])

-so literally my parents have falsely filed two police reports, falsely imprisoned two people and now falsely charged two people of a crime we never committed and they are getting away with it because the DA doesnt want to get sued for being mislead and pursuing charges with a case riddled with easily disproven lies.

So my BF takes a plea deal because these charges are never getting dismissed regardless of any actual evidence. sentenced to 1d6M Probation 15d suspended jail time. BUT WAIT, THE COURT SCRIBE IS FUNCTIONALLY INCOMPETENT OR SOME ***and inputs 1y probation 6m15d active jail sentence. Not one person catches this until now and the jail is refusing to release him because they have the docket claiming they own him for 6m15d.

TL;DR: It's a clusterfuck created by my parents to separate me and my BF with prison for a crime that he nor i committed. The DA refuses to dismiss the charges because he might get sued. Plea deal: Someone lets a monkey use a keyboard: jail refuses to let BF go because they have orders to keep him for basically a typo.

BONUS ROUND: Nobody but the DA in either parish and the ADAs have seen either police report and my father claims to be willing to give me both police reports to claim my boyfriend defrauded me from my car but then flakes at EVERY attempt to go and procure either report (I assume that then the jig will be up and his evil plan will thusly be foiled).

I could sit here and type out the entirety of 6 months worth of *** based around 6 days of bad decisions (Which was entirely a personal matter that did not need to be turned into a criminal one), but id rather just leave the longest accurate generalization of the events that now have lead me to wanting to bash my head into a wall because the criminal justice system in this country is well HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE incompetent.
