While I overall have mixed feelings about the guy, I like Anthony Bourdain's take on flavor/taste/etc. better. He's an bit of a hypocrite about some things, but he's got some decent views on some subjects.
You really enjoy good stuff, but not everything has to be the best thing ever. Not every beer needs to be a microbrew small batch $10 a bottle beer with a story behind it.
Sometimes you just have a *** Miller and get on with your day.
I liked watching his No Reservations. The guy seemed more real on ***than a lot of other TV personalities.
Like, I think it was the Vietnam episode. He met the guy who lost a leg to a left over landmine and his reaction seemed very real, like he wasn't 'doing a take' he hadn't coached his reaction for the camera, he just reacted.
