I realize he's not a universally recognized icon like David Bowie, but mother *** this year won't relent. The man was one of the classic voices in prog rock. (Emerson, Lake, & Palmer, King Crimson's first album, etc., if you're familiar with the acts but maybe not the man.) Probably doesn't merit its own thread, but never-the-less. RIP, Greg. With as many of these make the news you have to wonder how frequently it's actually happening. Happened in my high school once that I know of that got caught. A teacher I actually really liked and respected got shitcanned for fooling around with a student. Makes me wonder how much it went on otherwise. People will do the nasty, probably more than we ever want to know.

A lot of teachers are in their early 20s, and they're really not all that much older and developed than the students they are teaching. Like I know if I was teaching high school juniors/seniors right now, it would be easy for me to forget that they were all younger than me by 8~9 years. Especially ones with higher levels of intelligence/maturity.

There was a teacher I had a thing for in high school. I never had her class though. Bummer. I could've had another 'Kojo didn't notice' story. :/
