Best part about being on the west side of the country is that I can always have the last word on a day's conversation and it won't be seen until the next day when it is ignored entirely and swept away with the current of posts about Pokemon and porn.

Final Fantasy 9 is pretty awesome. Jumping rope is the ***. The story is top notch. Better than any other Final Fantasy since. I know this is bold talk, but again, no one will see this until tomorrow. So, for the next few hours, I'M RIGHT!

Yeah, the main story of the game is kinda cookie cutter Final Fantasy stuff (the world is doomed, goofy dude with weird costume choices somehow is powerful as all get out, etc.), but the side stories are devastating. That whole Freya thing was heartbreaking and Vivi just wants to belong. Even the Quina story was pretty sad (I don't really remember it, but I remember being sad about it).

ffvii is better~ I agree. I meant 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15. They're good, but they were more about amazing gameplay and less about a riveting story.

i just wanted to throw something in as quick as possible to your, "last word til tomorrow". this will lose it's fun by the morning, but i agree. it was all downhill after xiv.

Yeah.... That minigame kinda ticked me off since it was one of only a few barriers to full completion of the game for me. That and it's literally impossible to get all the items, since they don't have a new game+

I know Yugiri had very few lines in the trailer but I do love what I hear of the new VA at least.

[EDIT] Also someone on Reddit posted this album of pictures that are apparently the last few seconds of the 3.5 trailer where it rapidly pans through a ton of scenes.
[EDIT2] Yeah, S-E's been pretty good at making sure there are no CS' inside the dungeon itself. The only exception I think that's in HW is ARF.
