For XIV I always found it's important to have a correct level of expectation depending on the type of content you're partaking in and how it's set up. It's always why it's irksome when you see elite raiders screaming for top 1% DPS from PuGs in 4-man DF content. Or casual PF only PuGs who expect you to understand them when you're doing like... 300 DPS on DRG. Those types of...
