People swear by that brand. I've had nothing but garbage from them. Funny how that works.
My most successful laptops have been an HP and a Lenovo. The HP lasted me about 7 years until one of the hinges broke and the repair company I took it to somehow bricked it. The Lenovo's still kicking after 8, though for some reason Netflix (and only Netflix) gives me major problems.
I’m so excited for the November Metroid dread 3D 2d platformer Nintendo announced, feels like it’s been a lifetime since Metroid fusion and had given up on the genre
Clevo laptops have really, really bad thermals at the moment because they're using shared heatpipes with no vapor chamber. About as bad as the old area 51m, both the same problem: high wattage desktop cpu without the cooling to actually make it work. You end up with a cpu that can be outperformed by the weaker mobile variants and a gpu that is gonna get choked by the cpu'e heat soak.
Man, ive been studying python For work, and writing some code on C for university, and its just frustrating the limitations.
Even more frustrating that i really am not willing to actually spend lots of time to figure best practices in C, then instead of properly studying, i just look at google for fixes for C limitations.
Highest end - Alienware X17 or M17 w/ a 3080 and i9 processor
High end - ASUS ROG Scar Strix 17in w/ 3070 or 3080 and a Ryzen
Mid - Legion5 w/ 3070 or 3080
I have an M17 with the 3080 and a mechanical keyboard and it is phenomenal but it comes with the boutique tax.
Realistically I'd like to keep it around 2,300. I literally only played XI on my old laptop, but I always had like 3 instances open and occasionally XIV when I did work trips. The laptop would become like an oven, I had to place it on a cooling pad if I wanted it on my lap lol. I don't doubt that most laptops are like that, but hoping a 17 inch one isn't as bad. If I'm gonna buy a new laptop I'd like a good one though, but I think that budget is pretty decent for most top of the line laptops.
(best ff couple was wakka and the teachings, prove me wrong)
Driving to a restaurant back in the day with a car loaded with my friends and I, one of the more media-savvy among us revealed the good news of Final Fantasy X's HD remake announcement. I started doing the forced laugh and then another friend and I shouted at the same time "...in HD!!!"
I decided to photoshop the moment:

You guys might remember the chimp attack in 2009 but apparently it was so gruesome that the medical staff at the hospital taking care of her had to be given therapy to be able to get past it, damn.

Then yeah I'd look at a 3070 variant of the ASUS Scar Strix, a Gigabyte A17, or an MSI GE76.
A 2080(super) model of last gen laptops would be good too if you can find one cheap.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
