Reminds me of how I found my old Nokia sliding phone the other day. I didn't get my first smart phone until about 6 years ago and that thing lasted me a looooong time.

Even today I pretty much exclusively use my Pixel 3 for the camera lol

I've had the same strategy for buying both of the smart phones I've owned: I went to several review sites and deliberately ignored the #1 pick, knowing that the top pick is probably going to be some extremely biased or influenced choice. Looking at the next few on the list, I did some deep research on each one to make my own decision.

My first phone was really easy, because the #2 choice on almost every list was the LG G3. Everyone else was like "I LOVE APPLE SO I PICK THE IPHONE FOR NUMBER 1" or "I HATE APPLE SO I PICK GALAXY FOR NUMBER 1", but the #2 was always the LG. It turned out to be a great phone.

Now I've got my lovely little Pixel 3 XL, which I affectionately refer to as Pix. Now if only Google would stop being a butt and let me adjust the Google Assistant trigger to "Help, Pix!" I'd be really happy.

There's a tiny breakfast/lunch restaurant just down the street owned and operated by a small family of first-generation Canadians. We wanted to support local restaurants as much as we could while the lockdown prohibited dine-in, so we ordered take-out from them a lot.

With restrictions lifting, we went to that restaurant today for our first dine-in experience in months. It actually made me cry when the owner recognized us and expressed his thanks for all the support.

I'm just super thankful that their restaurant survived the constantly shifting restrictions. They've got a really good menu

After pandemic i noticed how convinient is delivery food apps.

Personally I hate being recognized by owners/employers. IDK, I think my face should be easily recognizable because I just need to buy twice or thrice and people already know what I want, and almost like prepare it as soon as I get there.

I hate recognizing that Im that predictable.

Actually they do, because the odds to make mistake increases when you do things "automatically" aka without paying proper attention.

Thats not to say when I want to slightly change my order. Like I always drink cold tea but somehow that day I wanted to drink a juice, before I could ask, "here your cold tea, sir".

I tried to bet that there would be a fire in this town caused by fireworks today or tonight but no one would bet against it.

Given that one town in Britsh Columbia burned completely to the ground kinda on its own, I'm not surprised.
