He was always either the best part of an otherwise forgettable movie, or a huge part of why a great movie was great. It feels weird to say that someone with the career he had was underrated, but I stand by that opinion.

I think some of his acting is underrated, particularly in comedies.

He's funny af, but tends to play these serious tough guy roles.

I think the worst thing that happened to him was being super hot, actually. He was a god-tier character actor who kept getting cast as a leading man because he was so goddamned handsome. And he was fine at that! But if you look at like, Brad Pitt's not-leading-man-but-character-actory performances (Burn After Reading comes to mind), that kind of thing should have been Val's for the taking for forty years. We should have had so much more of him being kind of a weirdo

If anyone still hasn't seen his documentary on Amazon, Val, it's worth watching. Admittingly, it's very one-sided in regards to his behavior on set regarding certain projects. Specifically the Island of Dr. Moreau. He had a whole sequence of bad movies there that dented his reputation, and the doc just glosses over it.

Trash documentary.

In reality, he just had a bunch of movies bomb (and it wasn't his fault as an actor, just bad choices in movies) and that was the end of that. An actor used to be a brand, and if the brand didn't make money they stopped casting them to be in movies.

Hope yalls 401k is ready for an absolute bloodbath

Don't know about Americans and your 401k yet, but we absolutely experienced bloodbath thanks to your president.

After many years of economy growth, Americans are here to take our money away. We are going to be poor in the next 30 years like Japanese now. And we don't even have Nintendo to make money for us ;(

Sad.

Edit: Also, Nintendo is smart as *** to increase game price at this time. America is the biggest market for single player games, and tariffs seems to apply to digital products too. Basically, non-america dev and other industry are totally *** if they don't increase price, it's very hard to survive using old price with tariffs this high, because other markets aren't big enough to sustain all the sale needed to survive.

Edit2: Nasdaq future down 3.5% now, we'll see how American market respond....

"Totally different style"

-> The literal clock tower from Yharnam is in the trailer.

-> Blood related powers, echoing Cainhurst

-> Bloodborne original development had a few beasts that would seem out of place, like straight up bat winged demons and other non-Lovecraftian stuff

It's definitely intended to be in spiritual successor territory.

This software for Nintendo Switch 2 is a PvPvE - based multiplayer action game in which up to eight players can fight each other and fight against enemies . Players become " Twilight Blood Clan" who have gained powers beyond those of humans through the power of their special blood , and throw themselves into a fierce battle for " First Blood " .

It won't be an actual sequel, but to say it doesn't look like BB one bit is simply not true.

Even before my youtube premium free trial expires, i received an email saying they need to raise the subscription fee.

The new price is around $5.

Well, in the end, i never again felt the need of dowloading videos so i never used Youtube premium for my original intention, but i cant lie saying I didnt like being ad free for this month.

The price is half a single meal i have in any day. Even 1 third depending of the place.

Yeah, i will keep my youtube premium subscription.

Youtube is definitively my most used site, the one who provides me most of my entertainment as well knowledge so yeah.

I cant say it is a money poorly spent. I definitively get more than what I pay for

It was always a mystery to me how SE didn't release XI in South Korea, they love grindy games. XI would have done well there, maybe better than XIV.

That would be like saying all FF are the same style because they all have chocobos, or Lost Soul Aside is FF style because it has a spiky hair protagonist flying in the air, or Sea of Stars is Chrono trigger style because of pixel art and music, or 1000xRESIST is Nier style because of reasons that I can't comprehend....>.>

The difference between BB and Duskblood is huge enough for me to see them as 2 separate entities, especially if you consider the difference isn't just art, but core loops and experiences. Based on current limited info at least.

But if BB fans feel happy about something even slightly similar, it's not a bad thing I guess.

FFXI doesn't have external publisher. It's entirely published by SE and their publishing business only covered JP/NA/EU regions.

It's not until FFXIV that they finally work with other foreign publisher to publish FFXIV outside of SE operation regions. And by that time FFXI is already an outdated MMO that other regions aren't interested in publishing it anymore.

FFXIV in Korea, China and traditional Chinese regions all have separate servers and foreign publishers to take care of the MMO operation business. Such business relationship didn't exist in FFXI era.

tl;Dr: SE didn't care about business in other regions in 2002, by the time they cared FF11 already became too old and outdated to release there.

Edit: Also, Koreans made large amount of grindy MMO themselves, they'll probably want to play their own MMO before playing a Japanese one and give them money anyways.

I believe the most popular mmorpgs in SK are still the old ones like Lineage and Aion, XIV isn't popular in Korea at all. It's too casual.

I let this pup out its cage
I hold it on the peepad for literally 10 minutes knowing its gonna pee

nothing

Let it go, and it runs off to pee on the carpet, and then bites my ankle while I'm cleaning it

You're now the second worst dog.

lol I mean doggo was probably like "yo, why the crap am I being held on the peepad?" and just didn't/couldn't go.

Ours turns 3 in May and still uses pads inside, so no constant "I want out. jk I want back in. Ok, outside again." games
