Here I'll explain: An ISO or BIN file are essentially disc image files. An exact copy of a disc put into a file. However, to be readable, you need something to imitate hardware to run that disc. What mounting software does is it makes a fake dvd-rom/blu ray, whatever drive and "mounts" the disc image file into that fake disc drive and runs it. From there it would be the exact same as if you put the disc in your optical drive. You can install the game you want, and play it while mounted. The only downside to that is it takes up significantly more space because you're still installing whatever is on the disc image onto your hard drive, yet running the disc image instead of putting an actual disc in to play every time. Besides, it was my error in not making that note right off the bat. I was simply unaware how drastically merits changed from simply having access to more things via Subjob or introduction to new spells/JAs. Actually, I get mad for different reasons/at certain people. :( So, yeah. I like mad.

i'm actually enjoying a math class for once. and the further we go the easier its getting. right now we're on exponential and logarithmic functions, and i'm killing it

My 1-year old pup had more accidents in the house yesterday than our 3-month old pup. How embarrassing! She's getting shown up by a baby! Or else she's acting out because we have a new baby. >.> She can get over it.

I can't take it anymore! Why won't this DVD work. ;-; Ahem... So like, I tried burning some episodes of Gundam Unicorn to DVD using that DVD Flick thing mentioned around here a while back. First time it said the disc was too small, even though I'd set it to the right file size, so it cut off the end of the last episode. Then I used a custom file size, but now it won't play properly; it plays extremely slowly/choppy. And no, it's not a problem with the source files size; there should be room for around 3x more stuff. Halp! My teacher said she had found it somewhere for like 12$ but she just sent me an e-mail saying she can only find it for around 100$. So this is kinda lame, I'm hoping I can figure out how to mount and get it for free, or I'm just going to have to do a lot of running around when I turn in assignments. do you really need the 2010 version ? :<
It's what she recommended.
The main problem that I am having with my documents is they don't print out in MLA format (1 inch margins on both sides) and she was telling me how to set the preferences and paragraph settings for 2010 but I have almost none of those features on my 2003 or whatever year it is. Even before I typed the paper I set it to 1 inch on each side and it's still printing out with 1 inch on the left side, but almost 1+1/2 or closer to 2 on the right. |
