I was extremely lucky, I have an austrailian shepard / ??? = mutt, & he pee'd in the house 1 time, I flicked him in the nose, & said "no" & he never did it again. I didn;t have him nuetered tho, so if I bring him to my office, or my grandma's house, he imediatly pees on houseplants >.< idk wtf to do about that. so he stays home, or goes on outdoor excursions only. /shrug
I dont think theres much you can do about it now. From what I hear, if they start marking their territory even if you fix them after, they'll still do it. Or maybe if you fix him it might lesson. /shrug.

xD I was sprinkling my carpet with that powdery stuff, you know that pre-vacuum powder that's supposed to make your house smell fresh but smells really overpowering actually? Anyways. Yeah that. I was sprinkling that stuff because the new pup will go potty outside if we happen to be out if he has to go, but if he has to go inside he just pees on the floor instead of telling us he has to go out. So I'm trying to make my floor smell as opposite of 'dog bathroom' as I can to help him learn. He's only 3 weeks old, for goodness sake, he's still learning. And we had a slight backfire. I was walking around sprinkling the powder everywhere and he was so scared of it that he ran across the floor away from it peeing in terror all the way. My poor darling! And my poor carpet. ~.~
The powder wont prevent your pup from recognizing where he's peed before. You're going to need a cleaner that kills the enzymes in the pee that they recognize. Any pet store will have it.
Aw bummer. My plan has failed then. ;; But we're planning a trip to the pet store here soon because they have a big sale coming up. So I'll look for some stuff there. Thanks, Citag!
The powder I did put down has begun a series of unfortunate events though. xD I sprinkled powder, puppy peed in fear, but he was running at the time so he got some pee on him. So I set him in his kennel and vacuumed, then gave him a bath. He hates baths. Our other dog hates baths too, and I thought it was just so unfair to give one a bath and not the other, so I decided to give them both a bath, and then I thought that maybe if they were in the bath together they'd like it better. This plan did not go well, as anyone with two brain cells to rub together might have imagined. Now they are wet and naked and streaking around the house, and I had to go change my clothes because I was soaked too. Dumb lady.

Lol! I love dog baths. They are always so funny in water. My Shiba was like a cat when it came to baths. She got used to it though. Well, she would tolerate it lol.

So up here at tech. Like 30 minutes ago. A massive dust storm swooped in and is still continuing. The skies turned a crimson red as the wind blew reddish brown dust and dirt through the air. An eerie sky blanketed the town as bits of flying dirt pelted students as they walked to and fro class.
-picture taken via phone and 5 minutes into the storm. And It got much much darker than that-

By slipispsycho 2011-10-17 21:19:44
I'm not really sure how I figured out the right set up to make it work <_< I guess I just stumbled upon it, since I didn't even know how I did it, I had to tear it down and rebuild it for the door twice cuz it wasn't working right.

About the only story of his I read was Cloud, Castle, Lake. I liked it, I should look into other Nabovok works. There anything in particular you liked of him that you might recommend?

I haven't read too much of his stuff (yet), but what I have read has really pushed me in the right direction. For class, I just recently finished reading "Lolita", but if you decide to read that one, here's a fair warning. The subject matter is atrocious, and Nabokov did that for precisely that reason. But, what you need to look for is how he messes with his audience. I won't give anything away, but he's always been an advocate for insistence that literature is art, and not didactic. Also, he's a master of language, and he likes to futz around with it. A lot of his works are like a huge puzzle.
I also read "Signs and Symbols", and that's pretty much the same thing, just a much smaller version. Honestly though, I recommend his work highly. He's got that literary mind that I've been seeking for years.

Hey, Lost ending. *** you!

Quote: EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — Police in Everett, Wash., say a woman is accused of cutting her sleeping husband's neck and shoulder with a power saw.
Officers who arrived at the home say they could hear the man shouting: "You tried to cut my head off. You're going to jail."
The Daily Herald reports the 43-year-old woman appeared in court Monday on a charge of domestic violence assault and a judge kept her bail at $250,000. The newspaper did not identify her.
Police say the woman told officers she grabbed the reciprocating saw Friday night because an intruder escaped out her daughter's window.
Sgt. Robert Goetz says there was no evidence of an intruder and a child lock prevented the window from opening more than a few inches.
The 36-year-old man was treated at a hospital. link
You damned crazy women..

I hadn't really either up until 2 months or so ago. I've watched the entire series and the end left me disappointed. Ah well, only a show!
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
