you can switch it to 3rd person. i play oblivion in 3rd person

yar Verethragna is cream of the crop. the WoE version isn't a bad alternative, short of that, I think taurine cesti for easy to obtain

Thanks. I'm trying to decide on what gear to give my second account's MNK. It's a low priority compared to my PLD/WHM and whatever Sav decides, but I still want it to at least be useful for procs and speeding up kills in dynamis.

This is what I'm starting with:

Already started on AF3+2, so that will fix those. She also got a brisk mask last night. Is that better than Turban? Or will it depend on haste in other slots?

(Edit: Pants have Acc+7 / Haste+3)

(She had 75 ABCs on her, but I... borrowed 30 or 40 of them to get a Brutal Earring for my PLD. Thought she already had hers. Whoops.)


Man, it's been a long time since I had to even think about MNK, much less gear it.

idk how similar the controls between oblivion and skyrim are (my skyrim is still in transit :<) but 3rd person is probably R3

Well Atheling is easy to get. First AF3 I'd work on is legs, big improvement. Then probably the gloves. Brutal/Attack earring, keen ring would beat your acc ring since you're probably /WAR and can rotate aggressor and focus. Thew bomblet is cheap, tantra tathlum is 100% droprate for ascetic's and chakras and acc swaps. And if you can, get an agasaya's or even an augmented wivre with +2 crit for neck. Furor is easily gotten for a weapon too, until you buy grotesque.

Not much between what you have and the usual cookie cutter builds for 90+ though unfortunately.

I have Tantra Tath in there as well. It's only 24% haste though. It's a shame the account will probably never have a blackbelt.

I was never a fan of kick attacks back at 75, but there seems to be a lot of extras for it on gear. Where does footwork stand now?

Edit: Just to clarify, I already have Destroyers on the MNK.

yea krizz if ya not worring about Verathranga Sephari or Glanzfaust or ToM/WoE ,destroyers>taurine>grotesque are good path but if ya don't want to worry bout latent On the destroyers go ahead and farm the Taurine from Indrik, Grotesque can be got from AH easy

footwork is crap. but that looks fine, since you only have 24% haste, you can use zelus tiara over tantra inside abyssea since i doubt you have usukane sune-ate. epona's ring would be an upgrade over keen if you ever get the opportunity.

kick attacks just for the added DPS, don't underestimate it though.

footwork is still useless.

well, I guess, assuming no v.smite or a.fury, a footwork>>>tornado kick might be highest dmg ws.

tornado kick is still behind ascetic's fury if you have atma's, can still use footwork every 5 minutes before WS for the attack boost though.

Spath are you around? :O I need to ask where to skill up auto magic.. Someone told me those curse things in Beadeaux but my skill is over 300 and someone else told me it only works to a certain point. x.x HALP!
