Now that I think about it how many fighting games are not minimum T rated? Seems like you'd have to at least open up to that level to get something semi-close to what he likes.
On that note, isn't that Star Wars game Rated T? So why does being rated T matter in the first place?

I haven't played the third yet sadly, but in the first two although there is a lot of violence, it is never graphic. It is portrayed similar to a typical action film, where the consequences of your violence are never really shown and instead enemies exist simply to be defeated arcade-style. There isn't much in the way of blood/gore/swearing/sex or anything.
The final parts of the game in the first one in particular are quite tense and fairly frightening, but nothing too bad. I think they would be good choices overall. wud eye miss?
edit: Also, Yomi... what the crap? I come home to disintegrating fingers? 3D dot game heroes cheyne. plays like ya old school zelda games and actualy kinda fun. can even customize ya chars dot by dot. spent bout 6h itself just in the customization lol
You could also just get him a PSN Card/Gamestop Gift Card and let him decide what he wants. Just throwing that out there.
Thanks guys, Austar has a point that most games can be bought on PSN like Crash Bandicoot and stuff. There really is almost no choices without some kind of blood animations but I will continue my search!
Can't decide what to get for my stepfather for Christmas. I've only met him once and don't really know what he likes, except he likes to hunt. Honestly, I can only send him so many coffee mugs with deer and bucks on them before he starts getting the idea that I have no bloody clue what I'm doing. xD
