Isn't she NOT supposed to be here?
If you're here enough to + stuff, then provide us with more pics!
Well I'm almost mostly packed! I took the pups out and it was traumatizing for them both, see. So now we have to stay up later. Let me just explain that awful un-logic for a second.
It's raining out. Hard. Pixel hates rain, she always has, so instead of going faster she takes two or three times longer and gets herself soaked to the skin. (We stayed outside for over 40 minutes the other day while she hemmed and hawed and sulked. I gave up, decided she didn't have to go, brought her in, and she pooped on my carpet. Durn mutt.) Anyways, so if I'm staying out for 40 minutes I'm taking the umbrella, darn it, because when my hair gets wet like that it corkscrews around my face and I look like a half-drowned poodle.
So I pop open the umbrella and it scares Dante half to death. He's a pansy, but he's my pansy and I love him. So I tell him I'm not going to let the big bad umbrella get him and he definitely doesn't believe me. We all go outside, and Dante spends most of the time running from side to side trying to get away from the umbrella. After he went I had mercy on him and brought him back inside so he wouldn't terrify himself for the full however-long-Pixel-takes.
On the way in as I was opening the door, he tried to run to the other side again and couldn't because the door was in his way and he ran underneath me instead, so of course I stepped right on his paw and he squealed. My poor darling! I left him inside nursing a tender paw and went back out with Pixel.
She only took ten or fifteen more minutes, which is pretty good for her in the rain. >.> I brought her back in and told them both how sweet and good and charming they were and gave them biscuits, and while they were preoccupied eating biscuits I betrayed them by grabbing a towel. Then I snuck up on them and grabbed them one by one and stuck them in the middle of the towel and scrubbed them down. This is because they were both sopping wet, and they both sleep in my bed with me, and my bed does not like sopping wet puppies.
ANYWAYS. So now they are working off the trauma, and I can't go to sleep until they are un-traumatized. They might have nightmares, see? See?
My logic is perfect, see?
