Just really sucks after all your close friends stop playing or rarely log on. Loosing all my desire to play anymore.
Need a new game to play that my crappy laptop can handle :\ super sad right now.

I wonder if XIV is going to sink or swim. At least it was fun for the time being. Completely understand. It was mostly the people who made the game fun, or that's how I feel about it in retrospect.

I had the same problem Kali. One of these days I'll reactive to get fishing to 100 and goldsmithing to 100. I told myself I can never truely quit the game until I accomplish those last 2 goals. I did all the others I set out to do over the years.
For now WoW is keeping me busy (I know a lot of good people on there) and TERA is right around the corner. what people* dont realize, or what they dont admit to themselves, is the reason they find ffxi fun is because of the memories and nostalgia they have from when they first started. They keep going back while thinking of the old times, and when they get back, they play for a while and then realize its nothing like their memories, and then they quit again.

I'd still like to go back to finish WoTG and get my characters to 99....I left (I don't say that I quit, because I had intentions of coming back) after abyssea was released due to nursing school. Think my whm and rdm were both 80. But I had a 75 smn too and a lvl 69 dnc. Would be nice to lvl those and I really wanted to lvl pup at some point. And now I keep coming up with excuses not to restart. I don't feel like paying for it anymore lol.

I just got an email from my ISP 10min ago.
