Good news is we can start swimming in like 2-3 weeks.

Well I could do it, now. I've just never been a big fan of it. But yeah, it's always funny seeing people walking around on campus wearing these huge parkas and scarves while they shiver and keep their hands in their pockets in 55+ degree temperatures. They wouldn't last two minutes in a Wisconsin winter.

We all have our limits, I suppose. If it gets to be in the 90s I start to sweat. So when the temp climbs to 115+, I'm dying.

I grew up in NM. Can't stand the desert. New Zealand is just so pretty! Mountains and lakes and grass, oh my. <3 But I actually haven't studied New Zealand's government or anything of that sort, so I'm mostly joking when I say I'd move there.

I wish SE would just ban people who haven't already switched to the SE account system. Since I know a ban would be extreme and it's only my severe opinion, they should at least disable peoples' accounts till they do switch.

How long ago did the SE account management system come out? To this day I still hear of people who haven't transferred, which is pathetic. The internet isn't hard people, learn it or don't use it! >.<

I loved playing on the Xbox. I just couldn't stand the computer. Even with the gamepad, it still sucked.

I honestly want to know where these people live that they can't get to a library or some other sort of resource center once a month or less.

O_O; This is so strange to me! Why did it suck? Everything about it is so much better. :3

To be totally honest, I wouldn't even bother playing this game if I couldn't use windower + spellcast.



How many people really don't have a computer in their own home by now, besides old people, or even an iPad (or equivalent).

even if they could using billing information on a public computer would be quite frankly stupid.

It's probably my computer, to be honest. Horrible lag, bad frame rates, I DCed... a lot, plus the control scheme on the gamepad, though laid out like the Xbox that I was used to wasn't very responsive, and that plus the lag meant I always missed the macro I was aiming for. Plus I never really got the hang of some other... software...

Then again, I'll always be a proponent for console gaming. Even playing SWToR, all I think about is how badly I wish they'd come out for a version on the PS3. At best, it was good for dual boxing. But the brunt of my FFXI work was done with the Xbox.

edit: Also, while I'm thinking about it, as far as spellcasting is concerned, I was so used to playing FFXI on the Xbox (I played it for a number of years before trying it out on the computer) that I had the timing down in my head. Sometimes I would spam to see if the ability was up, but usually I just had an instinct for when I was able to cast again.
