well random is supposed to be just thoughts and ni was made ages ago as the main general anythinng kinda chat but it changed its feel over the time. i guess ni is more personal in a way

I'm intimidated by Ni, it was from before my time.. I'm comfortable here, it popped up after I had joined the site and started posting. I feel like this is my little special home on the forums.

Way I saw it is Ni was more of a "clique" like in high school. Catering mostly to those that were already "in", and less friendly for new comers withing to be involved too. While random is much more open and well, random.

I like random because I can post stuff like this:

Turbo Powered mechanical kittens dressed up in gowns celebrating their victory over the sharptooths on Land Before Time. Basking in their blood, they roared to the skies to express their might, to the upcoming death that awaits anything else that lies in their paths.

Nah they are pritty much the same as here, were friendly when I poked my head in atleast. Only reason I stopped posting in there was because they slowed down alot and I got tired of following both threads.

Well not to say that they weren't friendly. I simply meant that Ni had it's own group of regulars which became the general medium of communication in that thread, while here I get to see a few new faces every now and then and the general discussion is more open and friendly to people outside of the most prolific posters.

and to add Ina, it wasnt so friendly for new people before, itmay have changed. many people that were regulars dont post anymore. so im sure its changed for accepting new people to chat generally
