Sorry, on my phone, but it goes like this:

4.9 = (.50 - C)/C

4.9C = .50 - C

5.9C = .50

C = .50/5.9

Rounded, C = .085

Sorry, on my phone, but it goes like this:

4.9 = (.50 - C)/C

4.9C = .50 - C

5.9C = .50

C = .50/5.9

Rounded, C = .085
I honestly don't know how you got from step 2 - 3. I must be extremely rusty on my algebra or something. :/

Edit: Nvm I just finally got it. Wow I feel idiotic now not getting that before.

It's just like terms, Chuuuuu. By that stage it's really 4.9C = .5 - 1C, so you add the 1C to the 4.9C, giving you 5.9C = .5 and you know the rest.

Seems like a lot for a bench, I guess if it is well made I might spend that much, but I think even walmart has them for a lot cheaper.
