Random Thoughts.....What Are You Thinking?

I'm afraid I'm a bit anti-social D: I think I'd be blocking my entire family except my mom, sister, sister-in-law, and brother, and almost all the friends I know irl. I think if I started blocking people, I'd end up with mainly just a group of ffxiah'ers, 3-4 family members, and 3-4 rl friends. That wouldn't be bad of course, I'd just feel like a jerk.

I do have a question about blocking though. Say I blocked someone, and then that someone came and posted on my wall or replied to something I posted. Would I see that? Or would the block only keep me from seeing them spam the news feed? I'd want to be able to reply to them if they posted on my wall, just so they wouldn't necessarily know that I blocked them. I'm a big hairy coward and don't want to deal with the confrontation if they ever found out I blocked them xD so I'd have to be able to reply to some of the stuff they said at least.

I post three things to Facebook:

Pictures of my son for my family and close friends to see.

Stuff from lolpics when I'm bored and my son is with his mom.

Updates about my son for my family that doesn't speak to me on a regular basis. (Doctor's visits, etc. And very little of that... Most of them don't even know he's being tested/examined for autism right now.)

And a barely relevant fourth: I have a private album that I use as an easy way to host pictures that I want to link to, but not publish for everyone to see and wtf at. Like this:

When they pop up on your news feed, there's a little arrow tab on the right of their post; you can select to unsubscribe from their status updates, but you can still see them on their own wall.

You might have just saved me! :D This handy little nugget of knowledge might fix all my troubles. <3

Oh yeah, I was typing while they did their stuff, but hiding News Feed junk is a good way to avoid all the annoying stuff without offending anyone, if that's what you're looking to do.

I've had to do that to a (more distant) family member or two. So much drama with some of those people. -_-

I duno I think it would be more fun to offend them if they act that way.

Some people don't like to burn their bridges. :P
