I don't see anything really remarkable about those, but then again nothing utterly terrible unless I'm terribly ignorant of what options are vastly superior to warrant such a strange negative stigma around these things.

The high delay and low damage are the major killer of those things since you can find superior on the AH.

Plus having Thaumas implies you can afford better, so Afflictors are generally the lazyman's option.

Also, twilight Belt on MNK.

Twilight belt isn't all THAT bad on mnk. Afflictors suck simply because every stat on there is trash. Low dmg, high delay, and the simple fact that you can easily ToM up much stronger weapons (not counting empyrean), and that even applies to pups.

If you're already capping haste without the +12 on BB easily (AF3+2 and such say hi) which would you honestly rather have during the TP phase? Subtle blow which +5 won't do THAT much? No. PDT-5 when not in dire need of it? No. STR+7 over 2% DA? No, I'm sorry. I'd rather have the DA if haste isn't an issue.

There really is no reason for a tude >_<. If you have an honest explanation of why STR+7 is better than DA+2 for the tp phase, please enlighten me. I'm all ears honestly. I gave a rational response and all you gave me was "lolno" basically.
