I wish I had a vehicle...I want to go camping, really, really, REALLY bad...we haven't even attempted camping in 6 years...when we went 6yrs ago it was mor elike a day trip then anything...we got to the campsite at about noon and then ended up going home at midnight because the kids were scared out of their minds (they were 2 and 4). They are 8 and 10 now so I'm positive they'd have a much better time this go around.../sigh/...someday I guess >.<

my video card has been jacked up for the past year, I wish I could understand computers so I knew how to get a new one.

All I can think of is the 20 mile hike camping trip back in Boy Scouts.

I hate camping.. It seems fun, til you're actually out there, then it's like.. "Can we go home yet?".. Granted my camping is limited to what I did with friends when we were like 15 or younger in the local woods.. We took a bunch of tools and spent the whole night making a 'fortress' in the woods to chill at.. Was actually kinda proud of what we made, we didn't use board and nails, we chopped down trees (not huge ones, but like 1-2'' thick trees, lots of 'em) and made this huge hut out of them..

I miss when it was safe for kids to be out at 9PM or later, by themselves.. Kids miss so much these days because of it.. Playing tag or hide and seek at like 10 PM.. Some of my best childhood memories took place well after dark.

My family has a traditional annual camping trip+family reunion.

We have property out in the mountains in Tennessee..its in the middle of nowhere.

they do it every october over 2-3 days and generally its freezing cold. You do normal camping stuff, roast marshmallows and hotdogs and the old people talk and I sit around bored out of my mind..and cold.

I havent gone in years though :P

I like camping.

That doesn't make you a bad person.. Most people can't stand their family in extended doses.. I sure can't.. Kind of amazing how it works out that you and your family really have nothing in common, at all.. Sure you and your cousin like the same music, or you and your uncle like fishing.. But all the things that you do that annoy the ***out of each other kind of neutralizes the few things you do have in common.

In all fairness though, you probably wouldn't talk to most of these people more than once or twice in your life if blood and title didn't bind you together..
