Fifties and dreary right now. It's been somewhat stormy since last night. Is it getting cold along the coast now? It's kinda cold here.. I got a shock when I went out back with just my boxers (EDIT: AND shirt) on.. I opened the back door and right then a gust hit me... Kinda reminded me of walking into the walk in fridge when I worked at Sonic.

I hope my Carribean Red peppers have enough time to ripen before frost kills them :< I've been nursing them along almost all summer and just started putting out fruit a month or so ago... There's like 6-8 peppers that are full sized, they just need to ripen.

The carbon dioxide is still there so I would assume that doing during the night wouldn't be that bad. I never tried it though. I much prefer being too cold rather than being too hot, as it's much easier to get warm. These summers kill me every year. I'm excited to have all the windows open. I hate how stuffy the house gets from just running the AC. There's more dust too. I'll be happy with sixty and sunny. You have that crazy humidity! Bleh! I would melt if I lived near Houston. Pretty much what happens to my garden in the fall and winter. Cest la vie! To Home Depot in the spring I go! I had a mega ton of squash this year. The first time I have ever planted it. It was nuts! In May and June I had to finagle squash into almost every meal! I didn't do peppers this year. Kind of wish I did. Do you seed them in the winter or do you pick up the plants at Lowe's, Home Depot, whatever?
