Though I suppose for stretching standard resolution across a widescreen tv, it retains most of its quality where as without proper scaling, it would look horrendous. Hispanic American is what I consider myself. American by birth right, Hispanic from culture given to me by my parents that were born and raised afar. If I have kids and don't give them my culture and up bringing (most likely) I would consider them Americans with Hispanic/(insert their mothers) decent.
