I'm actually annoyed by 14's jumping personally. Simply because you have people who literally jump 24/7 no matter where they are going. It just looks stupid as ***. Jumping on houses is fine, and over fences is cool too. But jumping down a straight path 24/7 is just dumb.
I haven't actually seen anyone like that on Bahamut server. Haven't spent as much time on Moogle, but I don't really see it there, either. :/
I have, and I know a fellow alpha tester who literally flipped his ***when he came over and watched me play it, and was hitting my spacebar as I was showing him things lol

I think what would make people stop using it constantly is if there was a minor "stance" delay between jumps and running again. That way it would only be feasible to jump when necessary rather than looking like a HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE hopped up on Ridilin.
After all, when I jump, whether it be up, forwards or backwards, it takes a second to reach balance and equilibrium to move anywhere again.
I'm sorry but an xi-2 would be a terrible, terrible, terrible idea...
They're still supporting xi, shut the *** up and play that.
Sequels to any FF is a terrible idea.
They have always been best when they were about a single story, in fact I can't think of many RPGs that were woven into several games that even come close to the quality of stand alone stories. For me the best format is to let any sequel be influenced by the success of the first but to create a completely new story and fresh idea, i.e Final Fantasy 1-9, Grandia 1 to 2, Xenogears to Xenosaga, Chrono Trigger to Chrono Cross etc. They all have elements of what began the series but are independant games at the same time. Mass Effect was good though, but not really the same genre.
eh kinda got pissed on a alpha quest tbh lol >< lv20 arc one >.>
I had a lot of trouble soloing that one, until I got 10 conj and got protect. Then I breezed through it and I don't even have all the tam-tara gear (i only have 1 piece)

See, I don't have a problem with spanning one gigantic huge long awesome story over several games. This really isn't any different than what Mass Effect did, or for example, Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings adaptation on film did to cover everything over several movies. The important thing however is to not alter or create the next game/film based on the success or failures of the first. Otherwise you get these "apology letter" syndrome or incessant fan-service syndrome. Either way, results are horrific in my opinion.
I should stay inside with my dogs from now on and be a hermit. xD
My husband's work was having a Christmas potluck today. I've worked for them twice before, once writing up technical writing pages for their website and once organizing one of their offices after a move. They told me they are hoping to hire me long-term in mid-January after they have everything sorted out from the move. (So yay, hopefully soon I will have a job! That's irrelevant to this story, but still yay. Anyways.) But anyhow, they were having a potluck, I was asked to make cookies, I did, we went to the potluck and...
I was the only non-employee there and everyone looked at me funny and I'm just sitting there chewing on my carrot stick all
and I swear everyone was all thinking "What's that non-employee doing eating our food? Buncha scavengers, I swear!" but they were all too polite to say it. ;;

This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
