Because I bypassed an optional area? Nay, I really just dislike that area, much the same as I hated 3-1 from Demon Souls. Hate may not be a strong enough word TBH.

Depths is really nothing like 3-1 from demon souls truth be told... the wall texture might might be similar but that's about it.
And blighttown isn't really that bad either once you've been down once... Narshee and I made it down in like 5-10 minutes earlier and well having 2 of us helped with the enemies I did come straight from the gaping dragon and didn't stop at any bonfires till the bottom one and still had 8 flasks. It's kinda like the bicycle of Dark Souls to me so far, once you know how to ride it you won't forget, and people will laugh at you if you don't do it :P Edit: Blight town refers to climbing down through it, the base level doesn't count.
