To be honest, you're not going to be looking at the face of the character <3

You can change it quite a bit, I usually spend about 25-30 minutes on each character adjusting the face structure and coloring the hair/eyes/lips.

It's no skyrim or AAR, but it's enough for this game imo

Do you mean ARR? As in FF14 2.0? That has some crazy character customization even in alpha.
I've only seen the video, it looks crazy @.@

Yeah the stuff they have is pretty rad. Lip color is neat and some of the facial tat patterns and stuff are awesome. You can have a gem in your forehead (like where the placement of a third eye would be in the hindu religions), and there is a facial tat thing that wraps around it perfectly for miq'ote. it's pretty dope.

its going to be bigger from beta on as well. more options for everythign including more hair for each race so no more 1-8 stock XI rehashes <will still be there tho if ya wana be vanilla>

Rice is awesome...

Brown both sides of 6 pork chops (don't cook through all the way), add cream of mushroom + cream of chicken + cream of celery, and fill 2 cans with water and put it in the pan you browned the porkchops in scraping the lil bits off the bottom. Put it in a slow cooker set for ALL DAY LONG /O/

Then cook some rice before dinner time :3 and let the rice air out a lil bit so it's not wet and saturated with water. Then pour the sauce over the rice and put a porkchop on top.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.............. damn I want to make that again.

When I made my char on XIV v 1.1, it took me 30m to do the hair. Since you can do hair color and highlights. My dude was punk lol. Blue hair, with bright red highlights. ***was fierce.

my pc decided it was going to run it off integrated graphics when i first installed 1.0 instead of my graphics card, so mine ended up with pink hair and realy pale skin ._. going to fix this come 2.0

Pretty much this. Back when I was a kid, my family and I were receiving charity and getting cheap foodstuffs from some government program, and they always gave us like 3 pounds of rice. My mother hates rice too (something I just found out rather recently), but food was food and it was all we had. So, she'd cook it up with ground beef, onions and V8 juice and called it Spanish Rice. It was so disgusting, and it basically turned me off of rice forever. Even to this day, even when people tell me, "You'll like it when I make it," I never, never do. I don't know what it is, I just can't stand having rice in my mouth. Not sure if it's flavor or texture, but I can't eat it without gagging.
