Wish I could do that, too much light pollution around here to really see the stars.. I mean you can see some, but it's not like you see out in the deserts of New Mexico..
Here's what light pollution actually does:
=/ that's a pretty accurate aproximation of the difference between what I saw in New Mexico (what made me love astronomy) and what I see here.. But even then, a picture can't really capture what I saw.. Actually seeing it compared to the picture on the left is like comparing the picture on the right to the one on the left.
