Random Thoughts.....What Are You Thinking?

In my dream I had been sent in undercover to join the mafia as it had been discovered that they were using an MMORPG as a means to traffic and sell drugs.

Things in the mafia really sucked for me, myself and the other "grunts" were referred to as "Ones" since we were all low level. We had to sit at different tables and for some reason in the building we lived in we were locked in at night in jail cells. Little did my superiors know in the mafia, I had already reached level 15 in my first night of playing.

Soon after joining, I was in game with a friend I had made amongst the "Ones" and a superior making a sale. The low level guy dropped a package of drugs which the game then destroyed and the superior turned PvP on and killed him. Looking at me he realized that he over-reacted and needed to kill me so that no one could tell his higher ups what he had done. When he tried to attack me though it had no affect because by this time I was level 30 and he was only level 5. I killed him instead and upon logging out I discovered that dying in game meant dying in real life.

At this point the mafia knew only that a "Level 30 cop" had killed their man, and assuming I was still low level they did not suspect me. However having killed a suspect I had now lost police support and had to turn to a man I had met in the "jails" who was super creepy and almost seemed to be a vampire. I made a deal with him that if he found a safe place to log me in and could keep me alive from the outside that I would hunt down and kill the entire mafia.

When I logged back in I saw the bodies of all the "Ones" around the log in area. The police who had been monitoring the game had set a timer that would periodically increase the level minimum and all players below that level would be killed upon connecting. I no longer was able to log out, not until all the mafia enemies were killed as I had promised, so I knew I was in a race against time.

Then just as things were getting exciting... I woke up -_-
