They told us early yesterday that he was looking like he'd be fine after he passed the rock he ate. Last night we found out the reason he can't pass the rock, which is small enough that he should be able to, is because there's a mass pushing on his colon that makes it too small for anything to go through. They gave him meds to make the mass go down, but it grew overnight and the meds did nothing to it. They're gonna try again overnight tonight, and if they don't work, they said the only other thing it'd be is cancer, so we'd have to let him go.
tl;dr - life is horse ***. Ugh, that seriously sucks. I wish all the best for you guys. Let's hope the medicine takes hold, tonight.

It just blows so hard to hear "oh he should be fine" and then an hour later "oh he's probably going to die tonight." I know they can't really sugar coat it, but bedside manner means *** to this vet. Yeah if Obie pulls through this, or even if he doesn't and we eventually get another dog, definitely finding a new vet.
When we first took him in, the vet left in the middle of his exam and comes back 5 mins later "sorry I had to euthanize a dog real quick." um, k? I'm already crying like a *** about my dog just thinking he can't poop, why do I need to hear about some dog dying 5 feet from where I am?! Vyre how long will Meebles take tomorrow?
Dafuq? That almost sounds like blatant disregard for human emotions. How is this person in the medical profession at all? Ah well, maybe the vet will be good at the job. It's no excuse, but it's something.
She's generous with his pain meds I think is the only reason I like her at all. I've had pets sick in the past where the vets refused to give pain meds sometimes for w/e dumbass reason. Like if they're prolly gonna die, at least make em comfy, ***.
I don't think I'd be as upset about all of this if Obie didn't have special meaning to both of us. And I pretty much slaughtered the thread, so I think I'll be going again lol.

Hey, I cant login to the game ATM I will later, my content IDs are expired/etc and cant login. When I reactivate it will I be able to buy lottery marbles? Or ID time doesn't matter is its not a new SE account?
