I can't do ties... any time something is wraped around my neck I start freaking out for no rational reason (apperently i managed to choke myself a bit with something as a baby so might have been that)... worst part was in school we had to wear the neck tie things chefs wear so I'd be constantly on edge the whole time in lab XD
I hate ties as well. They have to be loose as hell.
If I have to wear a tie, I usually try to get away without doing the top button on my shirt so it's a bit looser.

I had uniforms all through catholic school so I loved the concept of not wearing one , lol. They tried to put uniforms into the dress code at my HS, that didn't fly well at all. I'm glad it never went through. I was one who hmm... expressed myself through clothing and such. I'd probably have been kicked out for not wearing them, lol.
