I've been a die hard demonoid.com user for years and recently its become crap. Ever since they moved to a different url it hasn't been the same. There isn't a "top" torrent page for the different sections anymore and I've been getting pop-ups on a regular basis. I use to use piratebay.org but I got a warning from my ISP about downloading Wolverine back in the day so never used it again lol.

Mininova was my Fav. But I still stick with Demonoid it remains the best that I am aware of.

I use no script, I have no problems with demonoid.. I don't just browse the site, when I want something I have to torrent, I just check there first. Past that I resort to Google.. Recently the site that seems to be having the torrents I want free of *** has mostly been kickasstorents... I don't browse the site or specifically search there so I can't vouch for it in every respect, but about 7 times out of 10 when demonoid fails, kickasstorrents provides.

Look at like this.. There is no such thing as private.. Anyone can join those 'private' torrent sites, you just have to simply be there at the right time, and once you are in, you can invite whoever you want..

Your best bet it to use The Pirate Bay in conjunction with a blog style news release site that reviews the movie, and its audio video quality like this site Rlslog.net.

The main use of a site like this is they post only prescreened torrents and mostly only from scene groups rather than P2P groups.

Ya the main difference with public and private is users are usually required to keep at least a 1:1 seed to leech ratio on a private tracker. But it's far from private like slip said still a good amount of people on it. As far as the pirate bay goes even though alot of people keep ***ratios and hit and run all the torrent the sheer amount of people using it garuntees you a decent download rate even if the torrents health is poor(bad seed to leech ratio).

Highly depends on what I'm downloading. Eztv for tv stuff. Various trackers for anime. For general isohunt, pirate bay, demonoid.

Just get a program that blocks IP addresses from people like that. They wont even know you are doing it

I don't get why people bother to actually download movies/tv shows, unless they just want to keep them.. Streaming is everywhere, you can watch what you want, when you want without a need to download it.

Streaming can help you with the movies, as for the ridiculously expensive programs, I feel you.. I pirate games now, just because games are such ***now.. I mean they're good and all, but everyone's out their *** mind if they think 5-20 hours worth of game play is worth 60 bucks.

Mine just came with one of my former comps.. I don't actually care enough to go out and get it.. My dog chewed up the receiver, and it went in the attic as well as the remote but in a different spot.. I eventually fixed the receiver and my wife was last seen with the remote went to find it but she can't find it >.<
