But obtaining the perfect IVs from the Dittos is completely random and you need to catch many of them in order to obtain them, correct?
so you get a scyther with nature you want, breed with ditto with speed iv and power anklet. get scyther with 31 iv in speed. get ditto with attack iv and power bracer, you have 1/2 chance of perfect speed and attack, with right nature since your scyther holds everstone. do same thing with hp/def/sp.def whatever next, eventually you'll get scyther with all three stats. next, you want ditto to hold destiny knot, eventually you'll get all four. the main goal is to get a male and a female with 5/6 perfect ivs. one with destiny knot and another with everstone to force the nature. once you have both like that you'll have about 1/~200 chance at a 6/6 one.

keep all your 5/6 or 6/6 males too. it will make breeding other things in the same egg groups easier since you're already starting at that point.

As I was breeding a female Charmander, I got a Mischievious male with the following Judged points: Relativly Superior Potential overall Can't be beat on HP, Def and Sp. Att. I wish Speed was up there too lol... Still 0/40+ on female Charmanders ; ; Coming up to Victory Road! /o/

is there a guide somewhere for EV/IV training etc?
IVs are bred, can just read what I wrote above. EVs you can do super training or horde battles for. Horde battles are faster.
You can find some very good information on bulbapedia, among other places. They explain the EV system and even give a list of all the EVs. IVs are explained too, you can also check what was posted on this page and the one before by Austar.
I'm not at home yet so I can't check the GTS but, does anyone have a Magmar or a Magby by any chance? I'd need one, doesn't matter what nature/IVs. yea Ageislash can be quite powerful if used right,
i gotta train thier speed up some, few times i could of killed ya if i was a bit faster lol Our Flash Fire simulderp made me laugh.
wasnt expecting ya to absorb that bullet seed either lol
