they're really determined to kill all of their mmos by splitting their populations to the point that each one is impossible to financially sustain huh
if they are that hell-bent on shooting themselves in the foot someone might want to tell them that just pulling the plug on existing servers is a cheaper and more efficient way to go about it

I don't know what makes them think anyone is even going to buy this game with the disappointment that was 14... I'm not even going to argue "they're fixing it, it's getting better" that I've seen a few people do on the boards here. It should have right to begin with... I'm just wondering if we're gonna get another "here's something to start selling copies, we'll fix it... promise /trollface".
Watch it going to be even worse than FFXIV!

Strange move seeing as XIV is finally turning around.
Kotaku tend to get translations wrong, I wouldn't be surprised if they're referencing changing XIV's name or the PS3 release of XIV. I hope this new MMO has a short beta period where they don't listen to the players and don't change anything in retail and then once they start selling it don't charge a monthly fee because its too shitty for anyone to pay for and cancel their PS3 version until further notice... oh wait.

FFXIV is not turning around Flion, that remains to be seen. Can't really take future update note plans/implementation plans as a turn around. They need to be in-game and functional and then we will see. FFXIV has had 8 months and they are still only doing basic things, kinda sad really. I do have some hopes they will fix it though, the job class system is a big step forward.

When I first saw the thread name, I thought "Do they mean Wakfu?"
Then I saw "Big MMO." FFXV - Online I would have thought they were talking about Wakfu, which is a French game that SE is publishing in the US (not developing though), but it sounds like this is something being developed by them.
