It would be very sad for me if I did but seeing as I've just posted more info about the game then SE has in the last several several months,.. well I find that to be even sadder then me getting banned... lol, enjoy the videos and screenshots.

Exactly. I was thinking about this while I was at work. I'd personally wish to thank you. This is the crap I've wanted from SE. And it only upsets me because I didn't see these pictures directly from SE. Good job man. I hope the devs know keeping video game information a "secret" does not boost sales or make people want to play the game. It does the opposite.

But whatever, I won't get into a passionate post... Just sayin' thanks man. :)

so if you use the Archer speed boost you can bypass the zone block?

I don't think so... not unless your computer was lagging so incredibly bad that your computer couldn’t even process the game loading part of a zone… lol anyways, I think that would only work on going to completely different zones (Thanalan > Black Shroud) because any other zone (such as Hengr’s Cruicible for example) that is blocked off by an invisible wall, has the invisible wall before the zone load, so that wouldn’t work as far as I know…

It’s obvious when you go into a new loading area, your mini map will blink for half a second or change completely, might get an ever so slightly lag spike depending, might notice some of the background textures will load, etc.. none of these things happen before the invisible wall to any of these dungeons, they don’t happen till afterwards =P

lol of course since he didn't supply a link, I'm not sure how it is done, there might be more to it then just using quickstride...

POS hack past zone line, then you speed hack around the place for screenshots before the game dc's you because you're not supposed to be behind the zone line in the first place lol

obvious is obvious, this is how Viion did it from neko-sentai, this is how YUUKISAN from youtube did it, this is how MystinaValeth did it, this is how anyone can do it with the proper 3rd party program.

Interesting... people could use speed hack as a "chocobo" and just stop waiting for ages and ages for SE to release chocoboes... lol I'm joking of course..

I would never use a 3rd party program though, doesn't FFXIV detect those or something? Unless SE just doesn't care about people botting and such and wants to keep as many players as possible... I'm not sure how it is on other servers but Trabia is very very empty...

Anyways I really don't care too much, I wasn't lying when I said I wasn't using 3rd party programs but I'm done with arguing over small things so believe what you want ^^’

Also I posted this on another forum but not this one, I think this is rather funny… Keep in mind that a lot of this is before Yoshi-P took over, so a lot of this could be MAJORLY reworked…
Just by wondering around Eorzea (La Noscea, Thanalan, Coerthas, etc.) you can see a lot of mobs that are obviously not meant to be fought yet, rank 70-99 mobs.. Besides one or two unique mob such as drakes and orges, all of these mobs are just copy pasted versions of what we already can all fight…

By looking at my videos of these dungeons (which most of these dungeons is around rank 60-80+ area) we know that these will be dungeons released when they up the max level/rank (How long will that take?) and most of these dungeons look exactly the same as what we already have… Although the Coerthas caverns look unique to us, all four of them look the same except with slight retexturing which makes them all copy pasted as well…

In this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wc0ilSksWBQ we can see someone from the team of SE explaining (or bragging perhaps?) how they ever so slightly alter equipment and gear so they can copy and paste it. This video was released with the collector’s edition when the game was first released.

So now we know when we are rank 80, we’ll have copy pasted equipment/gear, mobs, and dungeons… sounds pretty dull and boring if you ask me. But like I said, this was before Yoshi-P, so a LOT of this could change and I sure hope it does…

Well, when you hide the 'legit' way, we have to assume you used the only known way =p

i hate to break the sensitive bubble of game design mate but that method is employed in a great amount of games and a vast majority of MMORPG's its not really copy and paste. think of it as taking a base item and upgrading it to an improved item. besides that white version and black version of the Iron gear at the 1:20 marker is sick as ... :p lol

but i do agree it does seem like PoS hacking since you say you cant tell us how without reason to it and the "fear" of SE obviously isnt the reason since you did repost your pics and videos anyways :p just tell us let us explore the areas. maybe SE will open them faster then :P haha

To be honest it does feel like this is SE's version of extended beta with the benefit of we get to keep the character so i'm totally cool with it haha

Yeah I understand some of the equipment is upgrades of its previous equipment, I have no problem with that, and some of that gear does look cool... but let’s take mage robe for an example… Hempen Robe, Cotton Robe, Canvas Robe, Velveteen Robe, Tattered Robe, and Vintage Robe… tell me whats the difference between all of these besides color/texture... There is no different look between a rank 10 mage and a rank 50 mage besides the color, the gear doesn’t look upgraded, there aren’t extra frays, layers, straps, pads, etc, etc, etc... Now take any other item in the game, Cotton Shirt, Canvas Shirt, Velveteen Shirt... Cotton Tunic, Canvas Tunic, Velveteen Tunic... What is the difference between Bronze Cuirass and Iron Cuirass? Just the color, there aren’t extra plates or metal shoulders or anything...

everything looks the same besides color! When they up the max level/rank they’ll most likely implement those equipment from the video but how different do they really look? They finally have an extra piece of cloth or an extra feather in the cap or metal shoulders, but it hardly makes much of a difference and it still looks like the exact same recycled piece of armor ever so slightly upgraded...

So how high of a level do we need to be to get the slightest smallest upgrade of an extra piece of metal plate to the armor and not just the change of dyes/colors...? lol

He mentioned that he was going to start off with at least one set of armor per class so any race will look great pursuing any job. I'm sure he wont stop there but a relic armor set of sorts is a great place to start.

Please tell me the 'evil armor' is for MRD (I'm assuming it's for a particular class, since he/they are talking about class specific armor)..

I really don't see it being GLA armor, or ARC armor.. I can kinda see it being LNC armor, although I kinda doubt it.

When I think Gladiator, I think like full plate mail, or maybe chainmail.. Archer I would imagine would be more or less like the trapper's/tracker's stuff.. I kinda doubt it for Lancer, as they seem to be more aerobatic type fighters, so heavy armor would impede movement.. Granted Marauders are basically associated with pirates, but they're also about fear and intimidation.. That armor is certainly intimidating looking (if you just ran across a mob wearing that, you'd think twice about fighting it)..

If that's THM armor, I quit.. Mages shouldn't get armor :x, and of course CON seems more inspired by old school FF mages.

I just hope they don't make us require and use 400-600+ faction points just at a chance of possibly getting a single piece of armor… Was annoying waiting 3+ weeks just to try to get a faction NM gear and not getting it due to percentage drop rate… and then finally getting one, but getting the templars chain coif, I was like “really!?” there are two classes that I don’t play and that’s mrd and gla, plus the Templar gear sucks… I swear to god trying to get faction NM gear pisses me off and if their doing something like that I’ll flip out! x.x I’m tired of that ***…

the templar gear is crap though lol the iron gear is better for GLA and the vintage harby is better for the dd's. so are you useing the router flicker trick? upplug and R0 to jump the zone then plug back up to prevent the R0 ?

Wouldn't that just d/c my character and stop it in its track? Does it really prevent R0 plugging it back in?

Depends on how fast you plug it back in and how fast your modem/router establishes a connection I guess..

Most online games won't kick you right away when you lose connection.

There's actually people who hack certain FPS simply by making their router flicker, they can jump behind someone.. Before the person realizes what's happening, the 'hacker' is behind the victim with a free and clear shot. Although that doesn't work too well on most modern FPS, programmer's have taken steps (or maybe just an inadvertent side effect of other programming) to counter it.

I too thought this could be pugilist armor due to those things on the sides, but I'm not sure if those are claws... Who knows who that armor is for, I hope its for lancer though, that way I can wear it ^^'

I thought they were a belt and tassets that were drawn pointing outwards for reference purposes, but now that it's been mentioned they do look like they could be claws too.

Marauder still seems like the most likely choice for the "Dark Knight" though.

Can I have a scythe then? =/

I really wish we had more weapons to choose from.. Kinda sucks that like every other job has 2-3 different types of weapons to pick from, GLA has dagger, club, sword. Both mages have wands and staves, PUG gets regular knuckles or spiked and those b-things I couldn't spell to save my life. LNC has a halberd, spear and trident. ARC is kinda arguable as well, short bow or long bow.. MRD gets an axe.. oh and an axe.. >.< Where's my battle hammer! ; ;

Gotta say, this was my assumption too, especially since people have managed to get through ward walls accidentally, could easily be explained by a lag spike. I found quite a few invisible walls (probably every one in Coerthas) in the first few weeks of playing, I just assumed there was nothing behind them yet. I never thought for a second that they'd actually have a fully made zone already implemented but with no mobs/NPCs sitting behind them.

What would be nice if they release these area's when they do the complete overhaul of the game. So that (trying not to sound like a fanboy) it becomes more like FFXI battle integrated and make all the mobs IT or stronger in these area's and increase lvl cap, abilities, weapons, weapon skills and so on. But thats my hope...
