Well, in high school there were two guys in my art class (the kind of guys who like pretend that paintbrushes are lightsabers), and they always tried to hit on my Asian friend, Min. They assumed that because she was Asian that she automatically was into anime and what not. Obviously, stereotyping not a good jumping off point.
She was unfortunate enough to have to sit next to one of these guys, and one day one of them turned to her and asked, "So, do you like Elder Scrolls?"
