such as? idk about others but as far as tp there is little room for acc/atk alternatives. tantra set, rajas/epona, blackbelt, ath mantle. faith neck, brutal/aeser, bomblet.
The reason for picking acc with the counter is just so the counter is getting the full benefit regardless of situation.

Increases "Counter" damage
■Raises weapon damage by 10 when countering. This also affects Weapon Rank (though not if fighting barehanded).

and

■Increased Damage with Tantra Crown +1 or Tantra Crown +2 equipped by +10.

so whit only this 2 items you got a +20 add on your base dmg weapon
...
