No such assumption was made, sorry. Forums are a vehicle to spread information and the spread of misinformation is detrimental to the community, so you're going to get a negative response regardless to avoid somebody else thinking it's a good idea. Whether you choose to learn from that response or do as you've done thus far is up to you.
