Empyreal Arrow In Abyssea?

Er, hi! I was just wondering if the quested ws Empyreal Arrow is of any use in abyssea. Due to my annoying shyness problem, I haven't been there yet, but am hoping to go when they raise the lvl cap and don't want to look silly or get yelled at. (Dig around in the general forum for "Partyphobia and other sad tales" to read about the whole shyness bit, it's unpleasant.) Anyways, just curious, thanks for any replies.

Piercing proc. The only use for it. Rng, thf, war can cover most of those procs, giving an alternative to blunt timer onry.
