Was planning on leveling rng here coming up and am curious as to which bow would be best to get (besides gandiva). Any help/info is appreciated.

Not sure about the other server, but on Asura some people still do #7 for quick coins. And Coin of Decay, IMO, is the most common coin drops. Thats why I was considering doing another path and just ignoring jishnu's all together. Honestly, I'm not a ranger, but speaking from VW experience. I see Gandiva rngs switch off between Jishnu's and Apex. So that would mean Apex is still a very viable WS in VW situations. Perhaps the WS dmg+10% bow? /shrug idk.
Apex(fTP=3.2 practically) need to ignore about 33% defense in order to beat Jishnu's 3-hit(fTP=5.85 practically), without counting crit. Add Champion's drink crit+, add Gnostic's drink enmity-, I don't see how scoring high with crit'ing in and enmity would be problems in VWNM.
Ok so let me rephrase my q better.
Which non-jishnu's bow is best? Just get a Gandiva, it's really not that hard.

If you can put your effort solo making STR bow, I suggest you do a couple WoE on flux #7 to get a much better bow. Gandiva is as "easy" as other empyrean. But you need a couple people to support you or have to go NIN/WAR with WHM 2boxing (which I found annoying, really). Its not that, I know gandiva is "easy" I've helped do the path a couple times. I just know for a fact I wont be getting it beyond 85 and am thinking about other more viable options.
If you want to be a ranger, atleast get a gandiva lol....and yes you can get it past 85.... VW produces alot of cruor, cruor = brew.
Isn't Harrier nice due to it being easier to get a 4hit with over Gandiva?

I am planning on making either the AGL or STR Terathopus but I am at cross between wanting agl+11 rngacc+22 or having str+11 rngatk+22. Though having agl+11 rngacc+22 would most likely be the best path since it never hurts to be able to hit the target every time.
