No worries. It's pretty easy to counter most anything with a proper deck/sideboard.

I know people think Jace is so absurdly OP, but honestly just bouncing him is the easiest thing in the world.

Echoing Truth + Isochron Scepter shuts him down completely and gives you time to draw a counterspell.

Granted, this is in legacy and not extended, but he'll still be expensive when Dark Ascension comes around and people will still think he's crazy broken.

It's slightly weaker than Wrath of God. WoG prevents regeneration but Day of Judgement doesn't. So a creature with regeneration can survive DoJ but not WoG

Firebreathing for everyone seems kinda nuts, but the up-front cost to get it out seems pretty limiting.

Even if it hits the field, a goblin grenade will sort out everything just fine.

good point but when it comes down to it sometimes you dont have the cards you need to get rid of it

i mean technically a wrath of god can kill it too and an arrest can render it useless

but id say its worth it for the cost

No, I'm pretty sure that thing is just bait. It's too much of a threat to do anything other than get zapped the moment it hits the field. I have the same thing happen when I put Jaya Ballard on the field. Every single time it's
1. Play Jaya
2. Watch Jaya get taken out of commission.

Counters almost any non-black creature without a problem so I honestly don't see the argument you're trying to make. There is a way to kill everything. That's what makes this game so fun

Friend of mine gets pissed at me whenever I do stuff like doom blade his creatures

I mean if you're really that worried about your good creatures being killed right away

This could be one of those cards you can't you know, goblin grenade

Oh but I've killed it with this.
