Okay, so, fishing for money.
Friend of mine was making a killing off Black Sole and Gigant Squid, fishing his maximum of 200 fish a day.
200 Fish = 16.666666666666666666666667 stacks of fish.
Or 200 unstackable fish.
First of all, he had like 4 mules in Jeuno to sell fish, as well as selling fish on his main.
Lets say you're catching only Black Sole.
@18k/stack, Black Sole x200 a day is: 298,800g. Thats 2,091,600g/week.
Now lets look at Gigant Squid. 3000g/ea on most servers. 3000 x 200 = 600,000g.
600k/day is...4.2M a week.
The estimate is 50% Black Sole, 50% Gigant Squid on the hook in Qufim Island, so you're looking at 100 Gigant, and 100 Sole a day if you're lucky.
That comes to: 300k in Squid. 149,400 in Sole. Thats 449,400g a day. (All this not counting AH Tax of course.)
This comes to about 3,145,800g/week.
That is 94,374,000g every 30 weeks. Thats 94,374,000g every 7-7.5 months.
What's my point? Well, you can start fishing these relatively easy around ~76. Gigant Squid cap at 91, Sole @96. Both can be caught with a Composite Rod + Sliced Cod, if you don't have a Lu Shang's.
With the Fishing Rings, you'll get up that high easily...personally I'm Fishing in Rabao for Carp + Sandfish(sandfish give me skillups til 50) so I can work on Lu Shangs & make some money + levels at the same time.
Basically, if you dedicate your time to getting fishing up some more, and then dedicate your time to fishing Sole & Squid, you can make the money for a relic in a little over a month, not counting the cost to buy Attestation and Fragment (if you have to. I've seen Attestations sell from 1M to 10M before...)
I don't know about you, but this looks like a decent way to make money, to me.

Actually on the right fish in the right moon phase, its not actually all that bad to level fishing. I've gotten an entire level in less than 10 minutes before. Pelican Ring, unless you're fishing from the Ferry, can be really nice though. Enchantment lasts 20 minutes, the same as the re-use time, effectively allowing for a total of 60 hours of continuous enhancement Enchantment will wear off if you zone Enchantment will wear off if you un-equip the ring With the enchantment on, you have an additional chance to get a skillup off any fish that you catch. With the enchantment on, it is possible to get two separate skillups from one fish--one from the ring, and one natural skillup. 180 charges too. <3 I've heard of people going from LV55-100 in two months with Pelican Rings. :o My main issue with Pelican Ring is that you obtain it through Fish Ranking Contests, and there's only one contest per RL month.

k, currently 39ish fishing and was going to fish constantly for enough gil for relic. After 2 weeks I realized that making about 1mil a week (if i didnt get undercut) just wasnt going to do it so..any suggestions on a faster way to get all that currency or the money to buy it?
