I like ff7(Xenogears was originally supposed to be ff7) more than ff7, but ff7 was my first rpg and still one of my fav games.

i used to have victory fanfare as a ringtone. made me feel like i did something incredible every time i got a call. plus, it was awesome when someone heard it and knew what it was. their face would light up and be like "ZOMG DATS SO KEWL!!!!".

I kinda liked 8, 9, 10 was ok, 11 (duh) 12 was pushing it, 13 ... eh, 13-2 I have yet to try. of course 1 through 6 was decent :3

I like the FFVII storyline (main game and side games). I also enjoyed the materia system and the battle system. Lots of nostalgia. It was the first 'modern' RPG I played. Prior to that most of my RPG experience was Lunar and Lunar: Eternal Blue for Sega CD.
Maybe if they would come through with that remake... not for the fanboys but if it is such a good game then reintroducing might be a good idea.

Oh and Cloud seems cool...at first. forget that. when i played this game the graphics were top notch. it's strange though. i didn't know the anniversary was today and last night i was looking at downloading the pc graphic overhaul for a hi res replay.

The only part of the game I didn't like (besides the square hands) was how long it took to get a golden chocobo.
It sucks you can't play it on pc anymore, all the mini game graphics are too fast now. Not my favorite, but I definitely liked it a lot. |
