I cant tell what other jobs you have but it would be much faster duoing monk with a healer formless + HF used to kill it within a few mins back at 90. However it probably is soloable on bst, one of the tp moves is hate reset but only if it lands iirc and 75 content vs falcor you probably wont run into many problems besides from only dealing low damage in 4 leg mode.

How can someone go on about changing their battle music? or any music files in ffxi?

1. Download a program that converts mp3 (or other preferred formats) into wav format. I use this one. These programs are usually self-explanatory, but pay attention to where the converted file ends up (Desktop, program directory, etc).

2. Convert the wav file into a bgw file using this japanese utility. You only need the exe, the other files are minutia. Run a virus scan on it before extracting it from the zip to be safe. Click the first button to choose the wav file, then it will make a bgw file in the same location as the wav file, and it'll be called 100.bgw. If you change the drop down menu, the name will not be 100 but whatever number you select, however changing this is not necessary.

3. Find the number of the music you wish to change, and change 100.bgw to that number. The most up-to-date list is Vanatunes. If the title of the song is not obvious as to what it corresponds to, you can use Vanatunes through Windower to hear any song.

4. Back up the old music file if you'd like. All music files go under ROMx/sound/music/data, where x stands for expansion number (ROM = original areas music, ROM2 = Rise of Zilart, ROM3 = Chains of Promathia, ROM4 = Treasures of Aht Uhrgan, ROM5 = Wings of the Goddess music, ROM6 = A Crystalline Prophecy, ROM7 = A Moogle Kupo d'Etat, ROM8 = A Shantotto Ascension).

5. Copy and paste this new bgw over and replacing the original file.

im almost done building yagrush for my pocket whm. i just need to redo the assaults however since i've been working on 3 characters at the same time ( my main , my pocketwhm and my gf's main) i kinda want to make this run count for them as well so i only have to redo alex for their mythics.

is there anyway to fix this if i don't know yet what mythic they would bee getting ?


it seems like i have to trade in the weapons before beginning the missions. is it possible to cancel that and turn another weapon before you trade the assaults records in ?

Lazily checked it on a couple mobs and I'm getting Karieyh to beat even Fulad-Zereh making it PLD's current best CDC body unless you need accuracy.

Got a question about an Ukko's Fury WS piece. Karieyah Morion STR VIT+16 ACC+10 or Ravager Mask +2? Also what are thoughts on Mekira Oto for Ukko's

Same question, but for Stardiver (DRG)? IIRC I added Karieyh to spreadsheet and it won by a good margin, but I don't know if I messed something up during the adding process or not. Me is spreadsheet noob.

Not in game at moment, but if you talk to the map marking npc she'll mark it for you once your server has a Bivouac in a specific zone

Alsoooooo does anyone know how to mod weapons to glow? Looking at making RME weapons glow, but I have no idea how to add the glowing-ness.

Is Bellona's Ring worth 1m for RNG or COR anymore? Assuming they wouldn't be doing any of the higher level events (Salvage2, Limbus2, Odin2, etc) in the foreseeable future.
