no problem. That should work. Long as you have an active mule at the day beginning, you should get the login points.
Heres to hoping better items in the next round.

Af weapon -> af lvl 52 piece -> af 54 56 58 piece -> af lvl 60 piece (numbers can interchange)
It's all job exclusive, can't do whm weapon then jump into Blm af. Need to do Blm weapon then Blm af after etc It sucks i wanted to level nin but the af weapons suck and i do not want them to just take up invo space.

Porter Moogle
It's a one-time fee of 1k gil per storage slip, and the slip can be used repeatedly. AF can be stored on Storage Slip 04.

Hi.
I have a question about the timed spawn nms.
When the descriptions says "respawn every x hours, window y mins", that means, if none claims the nm in the window, its will simply despawn and wait plus x hours to new window or it will keep roaming till someone claims it?
Thanks in advance.

The short answer to your question is probably "no," but it depends what you mean. Many lotto NMs are listed as being timed because people are dumb.
There are basically 3 types of NMs and they work like this:
* Timed - Spawn after X minutes with some variance and potentially work use larger windows than the normal 30 second spawn windows. Monsters like Tiamat work this way. Some monsters have no variance at all in their spawn times and will pop almost exactly 1 hour from when they were killed.
* Lotto - Have a chance to replace their placeholder when it is scheduled to spawn. If killed, they may be unable to replace their placeholder for a certain amount of time. There is no point where the spawn probability of a lotto NM becomes 100%.
* Popped - Trade an item to a ??? and fight the monster. ??? generally has a respawn time between 1 and 15 minutes.
Unless they are weird in some way (boat, only spawn at night, tied to Beseiged, etc.), NMs typically do not despawn.

Hi.
One question about delve bee.
After his -dt is up, bg says that dmg that bypass its special defense should be used, and refered to ranged attack, and really the bee dies very fast with a rngs party.
So my question is if bypassing its -dt is because a native characteristic of all ranged attack like bg said, or the reason he takes more dmg from ranged is just because bee is weak to piercing?
Thanks in advance.
By Zoltar 2013-12-04 09:43:31
Apex Arrow and other Ranged Attack Weaponskills ignore -DT. So basically the first reason. I'm unsure if the Bee is weak to piercing but you might be correct in both respects.
By Zoltar 2013-12-04 09:48:43
Panta, just to add, RNG does better than SAM especially the last 25%. My SAM with really good RACC/Apex gearsets with Sushi kept missing around 10%. RNG has a fair bit more skill and accuracy. ie: dont think you can substitute rng's with sam's. 1 won't hurt but needs 2+ rngs

Ranged absolutely does not ignore damage penalties, it just has a large damage bonus. Fully buffed, apex with speleogen will do ~8k consistantly for the first 25%(same damage every ws). By 10%, even with no buffs dropping, it'll be down to around 5k.
My friend and I use:
SAM SAM SAM COR/DNC BRD WHM
MNK MNK DRG COR/DNC BRD WHM
SCH SCH BRD SCH buyer buyer
and replace madrigals with preludes on the SAM party. The parse from last was(rounded to nearest %, had to get from chat log):
SAM1: 19%
SAM2: 18%
SAM3: 18%
DRG: 14%
COR1: 11%
COR2: 8%
MNK1: 6%
MNK2: 6%
and fight duration was 3 minutes 17 seconds.
You do not need RNG, and if you're really concerned about the damage resistance then requiescat is the only way to completely bypass it. BLU will do consistant damage, though much lower than an apex/namas SAM based alliance.
By Zoltar 2013-12-04 10:22:34
From BG's page:
Ranged attacks and any attacks which ignore special defenses (such as Requiescat) are not susceptible to this damage resistance and will continue to deal normal damage for the duration of the battle.

Fight didn't last long enough to lose JAs, yet damage is clearly degrading the entire time after 75%. It seems like there's most likely a raw defense+ element involved, since damage starts to vary as well. 0 missed WS.
By Zoltar 2013-12-04 10:24:46
And I was hitting him consistantly for 7900+ until the last 25% where it would hit for half and then miss frequently. Not arguing, just stating some things I observed
By Pantafernando 2013-12-04 10:45:44
The group im running with is having some issues with bee so i thought maybe helping leveling a rng (and also for fun).
That damage bonus you refered is the high ftp of the ws? Or the natural piercing weakness from bees?
Also, how would do jishnu in a bees fight? Had a friend who loved this ws, and would like to try that also.
Actually my question was thinking in a party with thfs instead rngs (not thinking in performance, but for fun), if that setup would be viable to win. Bee has a lot less harmfull moves than shark and tojil, but normally the fight ends when dmg done is so low that mages start getting higher hate then dds, so the bee became uncontrolable.
If thf can do at least ok in the last 25% (anything above 2k in ws), they can handle the hate problem by rotating accomplice in whms, and even if the fight take long time, still would win, what wont happen if dmg go lower than 500 as an exemple, imo. (Im saying a beaded run, as of course, never a thfs party setup would win if they have to fight t1-t5).
Thanks in advance.
By Spiraboo 2013-12-04 11:10:19
Considering piercing dmg is still affected by Bee's -dt, it is unlikely any thfs will do 2k in ws (probably more like 600, but this is a complete guess base on what i see drg do at the last 25%).
Another thing to add is that don't just invite one rng if you decided on a rng setup, if you take a rng, take a party. Your bard will want to rage quit on you because rng has no benefit having marches (unless they go in and melee), they will scream for prelude. So for e.g. if you have a mnk mnk rng in one of your pt, that bard (assuming 3 song) will have to do march x2 prelude x2 minuet or something in that party for rotation, which makes him out of sync with the other bard (unless he start first then call time) and also having to add a lot of macros in... @_@; Making it very complicated and more likely to go wrong and your DDs being under-buffed.
Your best bet is still well geared BLUs - if you're struggling, that's the easiest solution to clear bee.

Does anyone know if there's possibly some other requirement to obtain the moat carp creel from Mog Gardens, besides using super baitball? Or has anyone seen the item without using bait at all?
I'm up to 3 weeks now, with a baitball each time, without a creel and that is kind of killing what bayld I have left. Shouldn't be this difficult to get a hoe.
I've not checked the moblin to see if that voucher is available but I would like to avoid bothering with maze mongers at all.

FFXIclopedia seems to think that you need to have Kuyin employed and trying to catch a minnow.
http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/Pond_Dredger
That said, I've gotten a single creel before this quest was released and my dredger certainly wasn't rank 5. I don't remember if I had Kuyin employed at the time, but it's possible.
This is all hearsay and unconfirmed, but it's worth a try.

I've had her working on the pond this whole time but not sure if I set her to catch a minnow now. Million dragoneyes from these failed attempts so I've got plenty of time left to try with her. No use for the hoe at all but I'd really like to have this quest over with already. Gnatbane and Date were finished on like day 2.

Being realistic, how long would take to go from zero to cap in fishing?
Are there gear that enhance the skill up rate?
I remember when i did some fishing when i started playing, with moat carps in ronfaure, i spend like 4 days fishing to daily cap and not a single skill up (though i was on free trial, so i supose my limit was like 20 fish per day, idk).

If you fish to fatigue (200 fish) everyday and target the right fish for your level you can probably cap fishing in about 2-3 months. With that being said fishing to fatigue everyday without botting wouldn't be considered realistic since depending on the moon phase it'll take you anywhere from 4-12 hours to catch 200 fish.
A realistic number for me would be ~50 fish a day, so assuming the previous I'd say around a year at that rate.
Pelican Ring is an on-use item that can increase skill up rates, never owned one so I wouldn't know how it will affect your skilling but it seems good from the comments.

There is an exploit that allows you to release certain fish with a certain rod and fish far beyond your fatigue. 0-100~ish can be done in a matter of weeks.
