I've used hundreds of orbs since trove was released and never once got an orb back when trading back to NPC. Should consider yourself lucky to even get one, some have not.

Nynja do you have the Kupower or not?
And what's the estimate conversion rate you noticed?

I recorded a bit less than 10% on the release month on a sample of a bit over 150 Mars Orbs. (No Kupower, didn't exist)

Today I'm at 76 Mars Orbs + some from Deeds, so probably around 80ish (Kupower on)
I could add I've never seen a single Mars Orb refresh in the time in-between these two tests, but I didn't track how many orbs I popped so I can't really give numbers. The majority of them were with kupower though. Basically I had kupower on since the day it was released (which was some months after they created the Orb refresh mechanic though)


I dunno, the sample is pretty small I'd argue... Maybe not completely irrelevant, but very small nonetheless.
So yeah, looks like Bias then?

I set it every time I trade Orbs back to the NPC.
