Any use for Staff?
I heard somewhere that staff is not a bad idea to have up to at least 290 for a Monk. Was wondering if this was true and what good use a staff would have (and also best staff to use if any)
Yes and mercurial staff
Procs and Cataclysm cleave. Pluto's for cleave, doesn't matter what you use to proc, but I use terra's.
Currently have a 290 skill and working on Retribution (nearly done) thus far and will probably eventually cap Staff as I use it.
Would Fulcrum Pole be worth trying to pursue later? As cool as it looks, you probably have no reason to get it. Damage from the staff itself does nothing for Cataclysm, so it'd be Shattersoul only I guess. Which would be you just messing around at some point(Though could obviously do it with full swing/retribution).
It's still 900kish I think on Cerb, and thats a bit much for what is really just a toy. Ya, going to be fun trying to obtain Martial Staff...and I'll get Pluto's staff.
Thought I'm curious on Pluto's. Is it cause of the extra dark damage it could do on a reg basis? |
