For years we used the left corner of the room,never had him run away once.Then when I restarted up a static last year,the corner was 50/50.So our THF sggested the blocked door in the middle of the room.We started using that and it had about an 80% success rate,but sometimes even with DoT's on,and in the right place,he just kept running.

Since the last few posts are unclear,I'll just state that the way this rat works,is he isnt supposed to warp away.He's like the rat on the flayer/ghost NM floor.He runs to where you port up,and back to where you find him,and back and forth.Of course if you dont chase him/use the corner/door/wall trick,he'll just idle at the start until you get near him again.

I havent had a chance to yet! I've been on FFXIII-2 all morning (just finished it) so I'm back onto XI.It'll take a while anyways,hard to get people on here ;-;

Just finished the run.No 35's,but 5 cotton pouches (I know,wtf right?) flayer dropped one,but I'm putting it down to luck and not conceeding defeat yet!!!

Edit: 7 alex from gears (every gear/rampart killed) + 5 pouches......and still less than average SSR.They werent too bad pouches either.2 x19's,11,8 (die 8!) and a 13 :(

Looking for NNI group, I have well played/geared Nin/Mnk/Drk/Sam/Cor, But mainly play Mnk for DD. I am captain rank and have completed floor 100 many time over in the original NI. I will be a noob coming into NNI though; I have yet to do a run.

I am looking for an honest group to give it a go. I am able to play M-Tu-Th eaves, from about 5pm-11pm latest, and F-S-Su randomly. Would very much like to find some EST(play time) friends who would like to team up.
