Post Server Merge Update

Today I've started working on code changes to account for the server merge. I am currently scanning for new characters and linkshells and adding them to the database. Lodestone achievements should be added but I haven't looked at it in detail yet.

Old Characters (Characters on inactive servers)
They are linked to comments, screenshots, and private messages and for that reason they will remain in the database. Achievements, linkshells, and level data associated with the characters will be purged.

Achievements
Since SE has points for achievements, I will keep a tally of the official count for each char. I may create a separate leaderboard that would reflect a point tally similar to how it's done currently to give more weight to achievements.

Verifying Chars
You will need to re-verify your character(s) even if your name did not change. Sorry I cannot assume you are the same owner just because the name didn't change. This may not be true since the lodestone id seemed to be persist with the original characters.

Linkshells
I am going to see if I can import some of the metadata to linkshells whose names did not change. It's unlikely your linkshell inherits invalid metadata, even if it does it can be changed by a leader.

Item data and other stuff
I noticed some internal structuring of FFXIV data has likely been rearranged. If you notice something wrong you can report it in the Bugs forum.

What the hell took so long?
Sorry, I've been overwhelmed with work and family life. I cut back on some of my responsibilities. I will try to get things back on track!

(just in case you didnt see the msg in addition of the merge informations, the avanced search is broken for the "stats" and "food" list; and the shield job has been removed months ago so it should be deleted from the player's page)

I'm not sure what i've done wrong, I verified (two separate times) and it just tells me page not found when I click on Ragnarok.Ayanne-Moon.

at me the same "page not found"
is crazy, because I found myself at "Player Search" now twice
Selbina and Ragnarok, but Ragnarok dont work. :(

Some people still have sentinel at 50, and others do not. This is messing up rankings.

Shield needs to be removed and all XIVPRO points associated with it.

Characters with shield points need to have them removed. It is no longer a class.

I lost nearly 30k points because my newly registered character on a new server has no shield levels since it no longer exists on Lodestone.

Ya screwed me over re-linking my character, I lost 41480 points with the shield skill gone, and whatever else its not counting

well I kinda figured out where most of my points went too, I looked on my character page and its only showing me with 95 listed achievements, and that is way off since I have 2095 achievement points in game.

Points are still messed up.

Many people who are VERY clearly ahead of others in character progression and achievements have VERY low scores:

I was previously over 70k points, now I have 39k.
Even removing sentinel shouldn't put me that low.
On Istory I was 50th
On Gungnir I am 419th

guys if you check your achievements that is where the majority of our points are missing from, I'm sure once they get this problem resolved everything will be back to normal. Hell they just started being able to update to the new servers here on pro, so I'm guessing in a few more days it should be all good.

Heck it ravished my measly 30+ post count also, but that is no biggie.

Probably because points are being readjusted for the people that were ahead of you.
