This game is really aggravating the crap out of me by blowing up every none 100% egg I try to hatch. It teases me by getting to 2/5 before failing without breaking the egg a few times until the inevitable BOOM. I'm stuck with the lame 100% hatched 3/5 Kunemon and Drimogemon that are both 85-86% and evolutor blocked out of Ultimate forms until the R.N.G. decides to be nice to me. Oh well can't expect much when I can't afford to spend a dollar on this game I suppose just wish data infusion wasn't so horribly low success. I did make my character on Leviamon (Kyme) and I've seen you guys while running around each time I play. I haven't asked for a guild invite because I don't want to turn into "that guy" taking up a guild spot, yet never or rarely logs in. Like right now I'm playing FFXI for the next couple hours.

It's okay to ask for an invite, we got some space left. And Leon can just delete someone if we haven't seen em in ages (I can think of a few people).
This game is NOT everyone's cup of tea and even some of the people who play consistently get angry sometimes.

My tip for beginners (even though I'm still pretty new myself) is to wait until you start getting quests that offer rewards of 5M or so (like around Oil Refinery, level ~35) to start seeking out certain eggs. Bide your time; otherwise, you spend the minimum 15-20M on a basic egg and have a pretty good chance to break it, having a larger impact earlier than later. The difference in income is a huge factor in disappointment.
I sought out to make an Impmon, so I bought up two eggs for 25M each (this was before I hit the Oil Refinery), but with the money I was saving, it wasn't much of a big deal, as long as one succeeded. I eventually got about 28 Devil data, but Impmon is a greedy *** (10 data a feed), so I needed to buy quite a few Devil data.
The first egg ate 70 data before failing at 1/5. Why. That's 42 data more than I had, so 42M for data, 25M for the egg. Ouch.
The second egg burst in two feeds. Awful.
The third egg was a donation, and it broke in one feed. Still quite a waste.
Aim for the white-text enemies and red-text enemies and you're more likely to get a hatchable DigiEgg. Try to hatch what you're given; fortunately, the game offers you eggs that are somewhat cheap in terms of data cost early on.
I wanted a Virus-type and got lucky with a 4/5 Dobermon. Only cost me items that I already possessed. Good stuff!

I'd honestly just say pay the 7 bucks if you plan to play it for a while and just use your favorite digimon to the cap to farm for money lol.

If I were going to buy one, what would be a solid digimon that I could eventually ride? I don't wanna pay 7 bucks for a digimon that ultimately sucks and I can't even ride it around

Oh, here's a little tip and tricks people have told me. Ya'll probably know already though.
When you're riding your digimon, your fatigue doesn't go up.
When you BECOME fatigued, you can glitch it off!
Your jacket should be augmented with HP+ so;
1) Take your jacket off (I usually have better luck if I wait like 15 seconds, but people say it doesn't matter)
2) Put your jacket back on, and then eat bread. Your fatigued will be healed by as much HP+ you had on your jacket. So I have like 150+100 on my jacket, so I basically come back with 250/700 hp! Sometimes it takes a couple tries, but it's definitely worth it when you spend so much time in the snow/dungeon!
Edit: Oh speaking of snow, when you go to snowville, you might be frustrated that there are no NPCs that sell bread/vita/disks(Except the one that's a million zones away). Well right outside town by the Apemon, there's a little cove with hot springs and a Digitamamon(Whatev his name is~). He sells a more wide variety of vitamins/bread and up to F HP/DS disk.
Oh and if you're a Cashbuster at the cashshop and get stuck with a 3/5 egg and can't sell, you can scan them and get like 30 digicores o: I'm not sure how expensive everything is on your server, but it pretty much makes up for itself.

On the interface menu, digimon effect is auras, you can just turn it off. Is how I was screen shooting my high levels without the auras

So there's this hawt Digimon MMO a lot of you have been playing. Seems to me it deserves a thread! :D ~I will add more to the character/server list as they come. PM me or just post it so I can edit the list!~
For anyone interested in the game, I present you with a link!
Digimon Masters Online
A guide from Leonkasai!
Quote: Shiva.Leonkasai said: Wall o' guide:
Spoiler Alert! Click to view.
Partner Digimon:
Your digimon will gain access to their digivolved forms at set levels.
Champion at 11, Ultimate at 25, Mega at 41.
Some Digimon have a Side-Mega form, which is another Mega form that tends to have better stats than the first. Others have a "Burst Mode" form (such as your starter), which will have better stats and more powerful skills than their Mega form.
To get access to Side-Mega or Burst Mode you'll need to complete a quest or have a certain item depending on the Digimon. Items are cash shop only, but can be bought in game from other players. Your Digimon also needs to be 55/65/71 to gain access to this form, depending on the Digimon.
Your Digimon will also gain skill points as they level. Use these to increase the power of the Digimon's skills by opening your Digimon page by pressing D and checking the skills tab.
Not all Digimon will have all their skills immediately; some will learn new skills as they level up. Most Digimon will only have 2 skills total.
Enemy Digimon:
Normal enemy Digimon won't aggro.
Digimon with (Leader) after their name will aggro.
Digimon with anything else after their name tend to be involved in quests or summoned from monster cards.
An enemy Digimon's name is a quick way to get a rough idea of their level.
If the name is white, it's roughly the same level as you.
Light blue, means it's a slightly lower leve.
Dark blue means it's an even lower level again.
Grey means it's so low it won't give EXP or drop items (except quest items, which will always drop regardless of level).
Light red means it's a slightly higher level.
Dark red means it's an even higher level again.
DigiEggs:
When you defeat enemy Digimon, they can drop DigiEggs.
Cracked DigiEggs have no use, other than to be traded in for money. Class 1 will give 25 bits, class 2 will give 100, class 3 will give 150. Haven't seen any higher yet, so can't give any info on those. ;p
Next, you can find (family) DigiEggs (Dragon DigiEgg, Beast DigiEgg, etc). These can be returned for money, or scanned for items (which I recommend doing).
These come in different types, as indicated on their description window.
DATA will scan into DATA of that family. DATA is used to hatch Mercenary DigiEggs.
Low Class will scan into common items, such as food or low power healing items.
High class will scan into rarer items, such as DATA, healing items, and rarely clothes.
Super Class is the rarest type of item DigiEgg and will scan into clothes, DATA or chips for your Digivice.
The last type of DigiEgg you will find (and arguably the rarest of the lot) is:
Mercenary DigiEggs:
These are the eggs you use to hatch extra partner Digimon. You can get some from quests, buy some from shops, or find them as rare drops from enemies.
To hatch them, you need DATA of the type and quantity (x3 at least) listed on the egg.
When you have enough DATA, you go to an Incubator at the DATS Center or one of the villages. You talk to the Incubator and drag the DigiEgg you want to hatch onto it.
Next you'll need some luck. Click "Input DATA" and the Incubator will start to feed the DATA into your DigiEgg. When you input DATA, there's a 50/50 chance of success. If you fail, there's a chance the egg will break and you'll have to find another and start again.
You need to successfully input DATA at least 3 times to be able to hatch the DigiEgg.
If you're feeling lucky, you can try to get 4/5 or even 5/5 DATA inputs done. Doing so will make your Digimon bigger and give it better stats, but obviously you're risking more potential breaks.
Now the most important piece of information ever:
Remember to have fun. :3
