i am so far 0/2 on the win in this fight
i would like to know what i am doing wrong can u give me a list of jobs the number of people i need and what jobs they should be and how to win.
i really want this win so i and my friends can move on to dream lands.
You don't need Dynamis Lord's clear to participate in Dreamland Dynamis. You only need to have regular Dynamis access as well as CoP required completion.
And the regular Dynamis Lord is relatively easy.
Shouldnt need more than 3ish DD's and 1 or 2 healers. Make sure you have pro/shell, haste, and such. And use Attack food. It shouldn't be difficult at all.
My Linkshell farms ADL all the time, and I have killed Dynamis Lord with as little as 3 people before, so you shouldn't have trouble with a few more people. It's not a tough fight, just gotta be prepared for some potential mishaps.

Let me try to explain what he's asking:
What would be a basic strategy for defeating the Dynamis Lord (That question has already been answered, but I'm just clarifying what he was asking)
Our group won't move into the Dreamlands for wins until we beat Xarc. Many of us farm in Dreamlands already, but having our weekly group is fun, and we aren't planning on moving until after win.
(That said, if people actually listened at the beginning of the fight and didn't run around half-assed fighting random things, this topic wouldn't have been posted to begin with.)
If you have issues beating DL, you can always resort to using SMN and Perfect Defense, along with strong DDs (with Empyreans preferably) and a healer to wake ppl.
The more people you have available, the merrier.
Personally, I haven't done him a lot myself and a few lvl-caps back we had like 10 people for it.
Nowadays 6 strong players should be enough.
That are estimates however, so if you are just really wanting the win for completition, try to shout for it but also make sure to get a few strong peeps along with you.

Funny story. While recovering from an ADL gone wrong,we saw a group wipe to NQ DL with PD lol
/true confessions
I really enjoy watching other people wipe to stuff.
Like a lot of the old NMs, DL was disappointingly easy with > six person zerg, he died before his pet dragons got finished getting summoned. If I remember right we had two people hang back to grab ying and yang but it was over before it started.
But I like overkilling stuff.
OP you should go at it old school with 36 people cycling bards and cors into the dd alliance for buffs and two hour resets and hundred fisting monks and darks and kraken clubs and sam/thf ta ing the plds and seven or eight white and red mages, the whole nine yards.

BLU keeps it stun-locked w/ sudden lunge and nuke it the *** down w/ spells inbetween stuns, WAR obviously Ukko's it or alternately 2hr resolution it. Usually a very quick fight, must postion correctly though and both mages have echos. Summon may get off, just had the WAR super tank 'em

i really want this win so i and my friends can move on to dream lands.
Or, if you're available tomorrow, 7pm est, you can roll with us and we'll kill it for you. We're doing the Arch Dynamis Lord and will be clearing NQ DL for the tome beforehand.

Er... If you guys are trying this at 80 cap, that may be the problem...
And DNC wouldn't contribute anything special besides damage, spare healing and an occasional stun. Haste samba is nice, too.
Poison pots before pop, to avoid an annoying sleepga. that's always been standard. Also, have your DD's /nin. Contrary to popular belief, /nin helps a DD's longevity if healer's are scarce. Ying and Yang will pop at some point. Shadows will help here as well but ignore them and continue the zerg
