Apademak isn't that horrible, particularly not now. I did over half of my 90 Almace when Sisyphus Fragments came from chests 90% of the time. Nightmare.

Just leveled Blu a month & 1/2 ago. What a friggin' blast this job is!

Capped Blu magic and sword skill.
Finished Shikagar and grabbed Isador. (Almace next)
Learned 65% of all spells. (will get em all soon)
Grabbed a Tarutaru sash w/TH. Blu/thf Abyssea farming just made my thf/dnc obsolete. Drop rates seem similar to thf/dnc, with Blu kill speed.
Charged Whisker, where have you been all my life? (Made str trials easy)

Can't wait to try Dynamis farming.

Dynamis farming on BLU is very fun. Make sure you have a good idle refresh set and you'll be golden. Delta Thrust/Heavy Strike/Vanity Dive ftw.

Do you know the best way to kill Apa? Is it best to just brew the damn thing 5 times within 1 brew, or actually try to fight it?

Brewing's certainly effective, but not necessary. BLU + WHM/BLM is sufficient.

I've tried and failed to solo that *** twice now. I have no idea how Draylo manage to go that fight with only 1 resist. At about 70% he resist and proceeds to maul me. Smooth as hell until that resist, but then it's all down hill.

I have to use Ultimate as I don't have Merciless Matriarch, but they're both MACC Superior right? I used my drink and macro in some MACC gear, but it just doesn't want to not resist at ~70%.

How much MACC gear did you have? I had my set in the solo thread for it which has a decent amount of MACC in addition to the atma.

50/50 helms (took like, a year and a half, because I'm lazy, but got that about 2 weeks ago) and now 26/50 skins.. Still working on drooling daisy :\ Hopefully almace by the end of the week depending on help for sobek, and NM/VNM trials.

Because Fast Cast only reduces recast in even amounts (3% Fast Cast reduces recast by 1%, 2% also reduces it by 1%), you need to also do this:

5) Warp back to the entrance (while still weakened) and put on a 5% Fast Cast Atma. ( http://wiki.bluegartr.com/bg/Atma )
6) Cast Reraise again and check it from the menu again.

Sorry that it's more complicated and more work, but it's the easiest way to test this.

Following the above test guidelines:
Capped haste gear 0:43
Weakness+haste gear 1:40
weak+gear+Atma 1:38

100/105 = 96% (8% or 9% Fast Cast) (.96*105 = 100.8, floored to display)
98/105 = 94% (12% or 13% Fast Cast) (.94*105 = 98.7, floored to display)

8%+5% = 13%, which is the only valid solution

So they're 8% Fast Cast.

I have a question for the mathy ones. Is Oce. Headpiece +1 really better than AMKD Headpieces with Crit damage and WS damage +2%? I do NOT have a Toci's yet.

I probably will, too, then. Physical spells, Magic Fruit, Idle/Refresh, Fast Cast, TP, CDC, Eva, MDT puts me at 79/80. 80/80 with Linkshell on, and that's using Aliyat Chakram ._. Impossible for me to carry around my Ammo pieces without gimping one of my sets. :(

Edit: Well, 77/80. Forgot I still had Enhancing Magic skill gear still on me from playing /RDM. D:

I did about half of my horns blu/drk + whm 2 box. Wasn't too bad most times but sometimes it did seem like it leveled up without me noticing. Then again seems like all NM's randomly get really tough 1 fight out of 10 or so (Cara comes to mind here ...) Rest of them I brew on blu/blm, was able to do 6-7 most times unless I got hit with en-stun. Paid people 100k for KI's, and other run I got 7 KI's for free just so a LS could lot pops XD Lucky though I guess since they didn't need horns.
